Yea Kenshov, I miss the server, best times of my life, which explains the 9000+ hours on the game. But life happens and servers shut down, I vist the groups alot, and view some of the 3,000+ screenshots I have of the server. May the legend last *insert oldschool here*

I know Baconator, I am trying to get money to startup a simple server like AL it won't cost much I just want to have money to keep it running for more that a few months.

Hey guys. I'm just coming back to reminisce on my old days of playing in GMod. I just can't seem to find a server that will actually help me recoup after AL shut down. AL had barely any issues (aside from that damn rcon hacker), and it was overall one of my favorite things to do on GMod. One day, we should rebuild the Sailor's Retreat Gaming Network, as well as all of its servers. I will forever have this memory in my life for as long as I am on Steam. Rest In Peace Awesome Land.

Anyone eles come back here to see all of the old things. AL will allways be the best server and even though it's hard finding a server that I can grow on AL wil always be part of my memory I've could've cared less about all of the problems but life has to move on maybe one day someone can reopen AL but until that happens (or if it doesn't happen) I will never forget. Hey guys. I needed to say something. It has come to my attention that a user-rank player (who shall stay anonymous) can remove world props on Awesome Land. I have seen this on Feb. 16 when he removed the signs on spawn. I just want to let everyone know that the staff, nor the co-owners, nor Navy, will tolerate anything like it. If the player who can do this is reading my announcement, please let me know how this is happening, since only admins and up can remove world props.

Hi taco, Ducky the servers are certainly not dead. In fact I am working on partnerships as we speak to help expand our community. Baconator thank you for your announcement on that, I will post a more detailed message on this in the group forums.

Hey Guys, I'm Baconator, a Veteran-Rank on Awesome Land. I just wanted to note an addon that was on AL which caused certain props, entities, and other things not to work. This addon, Enforcer, was removed quite a long time ago, but when AL crashed again, it came back. Since then, It has not been in effect, and I wanted to just say that this addon could come back. If so, please do not blame the Staff or Network Staff for freezing entities or props. Thanks.

Two things guys. One, I am on vacation and have no ability to deal with anything having to do with the servers. Two, Simplybeast1231 handed the server over to me and while you might RARELY see him on, he no longer wants to deal with the drama to run a server so please direct all complaints to network staff or type !report on one of our servers.

I'm not sure but coming from me it wasn't ever that hard to fix or to test addons. I have a bit of knowlage from lua and well it's just boring not hard just boring sometimes not my form of art. I don't get how people act like lua is super complex and too hard. LMAO Hold on guys for like ever till I type my 'local function' bootlean ♥♥♥♥ in XD. This stuff is fun at times but sometimes it's annoying because it's a scripting lang and not upto date often. People say python maybe I'll say that's hard but again they still work about the same. People are so stupid. Why? XD

It has come to my attention that a previous user (who will remain unnamed) has threatened to dDos my server network. I am announcing that if such actions occur, I plan to do the following. Any malicious packets that I receive that I believe have come from this person will be sent back to them ten fold. I will also be reporting them to the respective authorities. I WILL NOT TOLERATE BEING THREATENED, therefore I ask that you go ahead and try to make your threat a promise. To anybody who knows the person I am referring to, copy and paste this message to them because they probably cant see it.

Update on the skit is almost finished, it looks great. I will release it the day before christmas

The servers were taken down today for maintanence including a full OS reinstall, triple backups, game updates, and addon deletion. I intend to work out all the major bugs before re-release. The servers should be back up tomorrow late in the day.

The server did not go through an update as planned today due to some unforeseen technical issues. The plan now is to update it sometime during the holidays.
