Poll: Private Multiplayer Match?

Answer in comments:

Do you think it would be a good idea to have a private multiplayer match exclusively for members of this group to determine the player of the week?

SpecOps Co-Ops FAQ

SpecOps Co-Ops is designed to expand your list of possible co-op partners for Modern Warfare 2's Special Ops mode. Read this guide if you're having trouble understanding how this works.

Q: I joined the group. What does this change about my invites/friends list?
A: When you join a Steam group, that group can be accessed from your friends list. You should see the group name and a small plus sign next to it. Clicking the plus sign will allow you to see all the members of the group (unless the group has 1000+ members, in which case it will say "Too many to show").

Q: How do I start a Special Ops level in co-op?
A: Start up Modern Warfare 2 (not Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer), and click Special Ops on the main menu. Then click the "Two Player Co-Op" option. Here, you will choose the Special Ops mission you want to do, just like you normally would in Single Player Special Ops. When you've chosen the mission you want to do, click "Invite Friends". Scroll down to SpecOps Co-Ops (Modern Warfare 2) and click the + next to it. Then send invites to who you want to play with.

Q: Who should I invite?
A: People who are online and not currently in a game. If someone's status is set to Away or Busy, or if they're in a multiplayer game, it's likely they won't be able to join you. If this group gets a ton of members, clicking on the plus sign next to the group name in the invite list will only show an "Invite All" button. Clicking this will send invites to all online users in the group (unfortunately including those who are currently in-game or have their status set to busy or away).

Q: My "NAT Type" is set to Strict and I can't seem to do any Special Ops Co-Op games. What's going on?
A: This is supposedly a somewhat common issue with various types of routers. Call your router company and describe the issue to them; they can help you get it back to "Open".

Q: I've noticed a spammer/scammer/account theif/user who doesn't own Modern Warfare 2 in this group. What do I do?
A: You should attempt to contact me or one of the other officers. The issue will be dealt with as soon as possible.

Tip for getting Co-Op partners

Just wanted to let everyone know that you don't need someone on your friends list in order to do Co-Op with them. You can scroll through your groups and invite people from groups you're in (including this one). I say this because I've been seeing a lot of "Add me for Co-Op" comments on the main page.
