i find players for multiplayer game SEV join me in your friendlist and play whith me... i can give new version mod game, balanced research area, structure have another size (no 1000 how standart mod), and very special changed for starsystem they have more specifical boosted (blackhole spinned in cemter 3-9sector on turn, more planet and stars have specifical abilites, and more more more new interested) realy its cool!!!! wait you for play SEV)))

And I found what I needed.
The files were hidden in a directory I wasn't looking in, and so the files didn't come up for a general search because I'd have to have searched for that specific directory. Which I wasn't.

Alright, I get why that could be, seeing as they are basically just peices, but the problem is that all I've got is a Steam version, I don't have SE off disk, and for some reason I can't find for the life of me the guts of my SE V file. If you only have SE off steam, can you simply not mod it?

Shipsets go under the Empires folder.

Where is the correct folder though? I've been trying to download ship sets and it's not worked so far. Do you know what the generic location of the correct folder is?

Lazy, mods work like so. Download mod - put in game types folder under steam ..... SEV.

It's pbw.spaceempires.net , not pbw2.spaceempires.net :) Also, I have a boxed version, and I have not yet figured out how to activate it on Steam... I tried entering the code but it doesn't match the pattern, so I guess it's not possible...

also, anyone know is it possible to steam activade a boxed version? :)

I would recommend Balance Mod....and your best bet is PBEM or the PBW service that is floating around out there.

Yeah i know ive said this before, but group events? i personaly would like to organise a couple of PBW games with us playing a bit of 'real time' with us in a chat room.
