Concept art by Mandarinn. This is mainly concept for an NPC in the jungle area in Source Lobby. The whole point of her is to act as an informational person or in other words, a tour guide.

Its actually a bug, the vortigun really likes to follow me. Not sure why, I believe its due to the fact that the AI coding is poor and hasn't been attended to yet.

Should I make it into a pet or should I attempt to remove the issue?

Nightclub was created by propsareawesome. However I might look into improving it by adding a second floor to it.

So yeah, while i've been gone for 3 days I decided to brainstorm some ideas, I ended up drawing most of them.

I've also made something out of plasticine for a tripple hydra model (You know that blue seethrew monster from the leaked HL2 beta). Anyway, I'll make some more plasticine models and take pictures of a whole set.

So yeah I recently got kicked out of college for screwing up the first several tasks... Because of this my parents have taken my computer that I use for work. So because of this any additional work to the mod that I am currently doing won't be done for about a month... maybe longer. I'll see if I can get it back for the weekends.

So for now don't expect much for the next month or so from me, but maybe something from other team members.

A maze mini-game that will include portals

So i'm actually considering of using the portals from portal as a gameplay mechanic.
Recently i've been flat out of things to make towards mini-games and progress on the lobby is slowing down again as i'm out of ideas once more.

The lobby map is currently 20mb large without compiled cubemaps, HDR etc.

The maze map will be built under Portal using its materials and content, source lobby has already been fitted with the ability to mount multiple game file caches, this includes hl2, tf2, portal, dod:s, cs:s etc.

So as long as you have Portal you won't run into issues with this mini-game. Oh and there won't be a portal gun to use.
