The Insurgency mod has been the absolute closest remake I've seen thus far (I would call it 90%) but it has since been killed. I would love to see this remade by SE the right way.

Don't bother with Xlink, if you are good then they all think you cheat. Too much complaining and falsely accusing folks of cheating. Its a headache.

I have played the Insurgency mod. It's definitely cool to be able to run around the old maps and all but it just doesn't do it for me.
