Thanks for keeping the server updated and friendly. Appreciate the quick action in getting the airdrops up and running and for improving the lag situation. I know the game isn't perfect yet but thanks for the hard work on the improvements made.

I would like to thank you for taking the time last night in attempting to fix the airdrops ( No one likes restarts but it has to be done in order to make things right when dealing with Alpha game), I think we all know now that the RUST devs or whoever will need to address the issue and I'm sure a fix for it is right around the corner. Thank you

It has been suggested that the Oxide mod might be causing additional lag on the server. I am going to remove it and replace with Magma (formerly Rust++)

I will be looking further into the lag to ensure there are no other issues with our GSP. For reporting, use the Reports forum.

amazing server guys, love it. Its been lagging really bad after the wipe and update. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. Deffinatley need more admins):

Server is patched and wiped. Mods are not updated to work with the patch yet but as soon as they are, they will be installed.

Folks, patch is coming tomorrow and rumor is it will require a full wipe. To help promote our server, I am making today and today only a PVP day, People can spawn with a full war kit (including an M4 and Bolt Action).

Following the patch tomorrow, we will be going back to our original configuration.

after you fixed last one i got back to my place loged off for a bit loged back on 3 to 4 hours later to have a bunch of walls placed in side my base. i was raided that i dont care i have raided and replaced walls many times. but the walls where placed to where i can only get in and out fixed ways now I can work around it one way or the other. I just thought maybe you could at lest see who placed them or i may just build in another spot if it will take to much to work around them.

it was in zombie hill right above rad town I was building a base i went out to harvest wood to cont. making it and when i came back it had pillers over every spot on the foundations and some walls. i loged in today to unlock the doors and more walls had been added to it.

TheBastard yes it was griefing but i am going to let it decay and just take a break I dont mind geting raided even chain raided I can learn from that but griefing just gets on my bad side. Well see you all in a couple days i need to take a break

From our GSP: We’re seeing some large random lag spikes as a result of the latest patch, work continues to try and find the cause.

Apparently this is affecting other providers as well so it's logical to assume the latest Steam patch issued earlier today is the culprit. If so Gary and Co, have shown themselves to be ready to emergency patch on game performance breaks.

I'll post updates a I get them.

Server restarts (which are being caused due to high CPU usage on the server) is apparently a bug from one of the latest patches by Facepunch. They have fixed the issue and will release in next patch (which I am hoping will be very soon). This is affecting numerous servers and is not just us. We are still receiving Restart notices from GSP. I am removing Rust++ and running Vanilla at the moment to further troubleshoot. A ticket has also been opened regarding this.

Folks, I apologize for the sudden wipe. Our recent ongoing server restarts were the result of a either a corrupted mod or database. So we went from Oxide--to--->(was told latest Oxide could be causing high CPU usage) -->Vanilla-->(still getting bugged out behavior...)--->Wipe Server--->(where we are now). Unfortunately these are the only options we have at this point.

Removed Oxide due to massive CPU usage on the server. Rust++ is now back on. The Oxide team is apparently looking into this issue and when they release a fix or when a fix is found, it will be put back on.

Still no ETA on the updated Oxide release. I am hoping it will be ready tomorrow morning. Just to elaborate, all those in-game commands like "/players" and "/location" and "/share" (for door sharing) currently do not work because they are part of the Oxide mod. So, right now, you will not have those features nor receive any notifications on players joining. To get around the "/share" command, just put a code on your door. I'll keep you all posted!

Oxide removed for the moment as there was a small Steam update earlier today and the current version is not compatible with it. Once the updated Oxide is released, it will be put back in.

Server is back up. Oxide has now been installed. Commands are slightly different so just type /help for a list of them. Everyone that had doors previously shared will need to reshare them.

I apologize for the delay (and for not posting this earlier but Steam was having problems authenticating my account), but I will be doing the Oxide update at 1:15 PM today.

The server will be coming down briefly at 12PM EST Monday, February 10th to replace the Rust++ mod with Oxide. This mod will, amongst other things, allow players to remove their own structures. This is not a wipe and all characters and data should remain intact. Estimated downtime is 30 minutes.

Game Panel Maintenance (In Progress)

Affecting Other - Game Panel | Priority - Critical

The most recent Rust update released by the developers have caused severe performance issues when using old saves. To correct this issue, we will need to wipe every server’s save data folder “myserverdata”. The Game Panel will go into maintenance mode at 6:40 EST. During the maintenance, all Rust services will be restarted. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

I apologize for this but our provider (and it looks like most of them) are doing mandatory wipes on servers. Apparently, the update does not work with the saved data and is causing all servers to lag.
