@Blood - Squire Brooktook's discussion has a good list, which I think covers most of the better ones released on Steam (imo, don't take it as truth). Otherwise filter the steam store for bullet hell and see what pops up.

Closest to Crimzon Clover might be Danmaku U2, however I've only played the mobile ver. so I don't know how the PC controls hold up.

Anyone wanna recommend me some good shmups on Steam? I already know of Jets n Guns, Crimzon Clover and RefleX. Any others I should check out?

I ended up going with Danmaku Unlimited 2 in the end. I haven't tried it out yet. Getting through Gone Home first. If anyone has extra games on Steam they can gift, I have some on my end also. Especially if you have an shmups.

Just joined. Big fan of shoot em ups. Great to see a community on Steam. I have Jamestown and Sine Mora. I'll probably pick up more titles during the Summer Sale. I'm waiting to see if any go on deeper sale than 50%. What bundle would be more recommended? ExCeed 3-Pack or Gundemonium 3-Pack?

hey everyone, im new to the group. I love this genre and feel steam isnt showing it enough love. this is a genre that has everything to do with skill with some luck as well. to be good and get better than its all based on practice and evolving your skill. no "oh i lost to this boss, time to go level up by like 10 lvls and buy some new weapons, oh i beat him so easy now". good luck doing that in a shmup. glas there are people who love these games as much as i do.
