I still look back on Shatteredlands with a lot of fondness and miss what we had there.

Hey so, I lost my harddrive that had an old save file someone had given me that had a griefed version of Under on it. I just can't remember who gave it to me, but I thought I'd try here and see if anyone possibly had one?

Earnhart2000 here. Miss the old server too. A simpler time. Before Tekkit and modpacks and launchers. Nothing seems to replace 'that old feeling'. We should try for another reboot, even if it's just Vanilla. (I see there was a tekkit SL server at some point?) I remember NuclearW coding a lightning strike at random intervals to hit the 'clocktower' of my Hill Valley town. Great Scott, that was awesome. Then Shatt had to shatt over everything and promised to provide a map download, but ended up delivering missing/corrupted files. The skyworld thing after that was MEH. I remember my townsfolk digging out 'UnderHill', a small homage to Under. I remember Wrexsoul, Vi0l33t, Twizzler_Lord, Rant, Person120, catkiller, and so many others.

And then of course there was the time where Person copied my Vault fascination and built a Vault in his city in the nation which I can not remember the name of and which must not be named.

Absolutely shameful. Almost as shameful as calling a town "Townsburg".

I built too many Vaults.

There was the Vault where nearly everyone in the server piled in and Shatt rained TNT and giants in the roof on the last day of the era,

There was the Vault under New Vegas in D'Hara where all the town residents were given a job such as teacher or doctor; this Vault also had a redstone door that played the Ink Spots song intro, and who can forget the loyal receptionist of the giftshop who literally stood there all day.

My last Vault was going to be a missile Silo, but by that time I had lost all motivation and I'm pretty sure I left some people hanging as I just disappeared... Some say I was killed by a Deathclaw.

Haha I love the thought that Under is still being built again and again years later... It will never be as good as D'Hara's Under though. D'Hara citizens were superior.

Well, I started working on putting some server hosting together. For now its back to the roots - on a VM in my basement -- But, it'll give us a lot of wiggle room to play with as far as putting a server together.

I do too Magister, It's sad to admit it but I wanted to cry when I came back from Korea to find out that the server ahd shutdown while I was gone
