Hey everyone, the server is now fully functional with Magma mods and all.

The mods I am running are as follows:

-anti admin abuse (makes it so a logged in admin cant kill people)
-CRUSH (removing stuff you have placed and putting it back into your inventory)
-Drop++ (I have altered drop frequencies on certain items to keep balance)
-Day/Night Vote (Skip night with a vote)
-Community vote to kick (You all can vote to kick players who are misbehaving)

I'm thinking about a housing mod but I'm not sure yet.

As you may notice, the server has been set to a maximum of 32 players. The reason for this is that on the old server we only broke 30 players at a time once so we dont really need it to be more right now and also because I have setup a 32 slot TeamSpeak 3 server for the Rust server exclusively so that everyone can talk to eachother even if the server is full.

The TeamSpeak server address is sdtownserust.ddns.net:9987

The Rust server is sdtownserust.ddns.net:28015

Hope some of you come back and check out this server. It should be fun!
In the near future I'm going to build a few arenas throughout the map, but I don't think I'm going to give the kind of loot i used to. It might be for fun combat situations between teams and whatnot. I will also bring back The Hunt event as everyone seemed to enjoy that as well.

Post suggestions for the server anywhere on the group page and have fun!

Also, keep your eyes open for posts about my upcoming experimental branch server!

After a bit of a hiatus, I will be opening a Rust server once again! It will go live tonight, but full features (Magma mods, etc) will not be available for a bit.

Server status and what a donation will mean

Hey everyone!

I have had a few people ask about the server and whether I will open another soon. Here is what I am thinking:

1. I would love to run a dedicated server, but the files are impossible to obtain for the current version of the game. I could run a server on the old version, but that would require you guys installing a free standing copy of the old version (Feb 25) of Rust. I could provide those files and it would really only be for the members of this group.

2. If I get $14 in donations on my donation page which is found on the main page of this group on the right hand side of the page, I will open a new server. To boot, I will give all donors Admin access for the first week, and if you do well, forever!

It's up to you guys, let me know!

I'm going to have a last hoorah event starting tonight until the server is closed where you will spawn with the Uber Hunting Bow and Uber Hatchet. I think it will be a fun goodbye to the server!
