We have tested the city downtown environment NOT OPTIMIZED where the entire environment was calculated with a I3 and a 256mb on board graphiccard with 4 mb ram. It was laggy but you could still walk around.
So I would suggest a dual core machine with at least 512 MB Memory and 4 GB RAM should be fine on low-moderate settings with our optimizations in place.

So will I need an advanced computer to play this game?

For the Early Access game we will ask around $19,99 but that's not written in stone and can change. The full version price will be a lot higher.
