Long live Assah!
TriXirT 5 Apr, 2018 @ 3:57pm
Just realised its been 10 years since the days of Delictum 23216. Anyone want to come back?
TriXirT 20 Jan, 2018 @ 6:37am
a lot better and manageable... easier to make iskies too.. Alpha accounts (free to play) can fly up to BS now.
Ive decided to make a new corp, decided on a possible name, "Knights of the Round Onion"... or i stick with my current "Eternal Lag"
Edward Tivrusky 15 Jan, 2018 @ 9:19pm
Yeah, pretty much. :spazdunno: :amarr:

what's EVE like now?
TriXirT 15 Jan, 2018 @ 1:25pm

Edward Tivrusky 22 Dec, 2017 @ 6:08pm
Sometimes I get nostalgic and miss all y'all. Denique Ammataria, bros.
TriXirT 2 Feb, 2017 @ 8:08am
Assah is lonely without u guys....
TriXirT 16 Aug, 2016 @ 1:26pm
impulse buy (in a very Ammatar way).... gonna get it... hope my system can handle no mans sky -_-
TriXirT 14 Aug, 2016 @ 1:23pm
No Mans Sky.... debating with myself to get it or not
TriXirT 3 Mar, 2016 @ 8:53am
a very amatar discription of gameplay that doesnt help in deciding if a game is fun or not to play... i congradulate u Nomakai
Rabbit 3 Mar, 2016 @ 8:46am
Due to the redesign of gameplay (adding a "stealth insertion" element), mission design and to some extent the revamped class design XCOM2 is a lot more high-paced. In most missions you're on the clock and can't afford to creep forward.
TriXirT 3 Mar, 2016 @ 8:12am
i played dust for a while, really enjoyed it and payed for a bit as well, but once i learned it was closing i lost intrest quick. plus i was borronwing a cousin's PS lol... im not willing to get a PS or XBox, waiting for a proper steam machine. i have a belief half life 3 will be hidden in them :P

but after playing dreadnought alpha ive had an itch for MMO games again , nothing on the market seems to tickle my fancy right now.
Not Flaccid 3 Mar, 2016 @ 3:21am
The past year it seems to have been a flood of first person games, star cit and elite both seem to have gone a bit stale as well :/

Have you read about Eve's Legion project?? Dust 514 was huge fun while it lasted.
TriXirT 3 Mar, 2016 @ 1:46am
XCOM2 didnt really interest me much, i used to play KSP but it got long after a while... if only there was a proper multiplayer mode then id go back probably. FTL is always fun to go back to once in a while.

and finally, waiting for No Mans Sky... which seems to be delayed again :(
Edward Tivrusky 3 Mar, 2016 @ 12:18am
I wanted XCOM: EU to be good. I really did. I just never got into it. Seemed too random/campy. "Hanging back", very slow advances, lots of overwatch made sense tactically, but wasn't very exciting. Does the new XCOM sometimes reward risky moves?
Rabbit 2 Mar, 2016 @ 9:32am
XCOM2. Nice game. Slightly better than the original XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within. As it should be.

Templar Battleforce. Good tactical game. Graphicly it's pretty unassuming, but tacticly it's like Space Hulk on steroids.

Kerbal Space Systems. Awesome game. Building and flying rockets is pretty exciting, both for the minimalist perfectionist and the guy who likes to build huge overpowered rockets.
Rating its pilots only on the scales of "Courage" and "stupidity", makes it kinda Ammatar.
Edward Tivrusky 2 Mar, 2016 @ 12:33am
Been tempted to resub EVE, but resisted so far.

Play a few rounds of Warhammer: Vermintide the last couple of nights. Good game. Very much Left 4 Dead feel, but in the Warhammer universe. Lots of cool melee action, good fun character progression to unlock new loot, very team oriented. Would recommend.
TriXirT 1 Mar, 2016 @ 12:43pm
Been playing a closed alpha game called dreadnought, its like unreal tournament in spaceships... and as an alpha its already brilliant. cant wait for full release.
Anyway, ive been itching to play eve for a bit, anyone else still playing? or have an alternative?
Not Flaccid 27 Mar, 2015 @ 5:00am
Arma 3 Eposh mostly.
Rabbit 26 Mar, 2015 @ 10:21am
Space Hulk Ascension, Cities: Skylines. Total War: Rome. War Thunder, Warframe.
All of them are pretty low om the Ammatar rating, except possibly War Thunder (since russian tanks are OP).
Edward Tivrusky 25 Mar, 2015 @ 9:07pm
What's everyone playing nowadays? I just got Evolve, but it's not worth the price. If it comes down from retail it might be good. Picked up Space Marine on sale and having been playing a lot of that and Dawn of War II - very Ammatar games, both.
Rabbit 25 Apr, 2014 @ 1:30pm
Does anyone have the desire to own one of the most Ammatar games there is, Tropico 4? I got a free copy when pre-ordering Tropico 5.

Why you might wonder is Tropico 4 one of the most ammatar games ever? You're EL PRESIDENTE, the corrupt leader of a tropical paradise (or hellhole. Your choice. Being corrupt is not a choice, it's the default mode and the way you get extra points). Against you there are rebels, international conspiracies and internal politics.
The internal politics consists of pleasing the contrary demands of several incompetent and hilarious faction leaders. Except Penultimo, leader of the loyalist faction. Who isn't treacherous but on the other hand REALLY incompetent.

Now lead your people to glory (although glory frequently looks like a very rundown sweatshop where you manufacture landmines to be sold on the open market, said sweatshop being guarded by the pampered military faction that forms your iron fist), all while lining your swiss bankaccount.

Oooo I like the Emoticon! :)

I had a month in the summer and spent a good day trying to find out what had changed, scanning had changed and to be fair it sucked :( Along with FW I'll probably mission run from level 1 again and take it slow, Amarr missions of course :p
Edward Tivrusky 20 Jan, 2014 @ 3:05pm
I miss the good times too. I've resubbed once or twice, but too much has changed. You find yourself realizing that what you want to recreate is the "people" and not so much the pew-pew. The amount of time it would take to get back into the game is frightening. I end up just spinning my ship and lurking in chat.
Not Flaccid 20 Jan, 2014 @ 4:41am
mmhmm, if I do pick it up again I think i'll finally try FW
Rabbit 20 Jan, 2014 @ 12:25am
I miss the good times in EVE, I do. Not enough to pick it up again, but I do.
Not Flaccid 19 Jan, 2014 @ 1:31pm
Anyone tried the new DayZ alpha? And I miss Eve :( struck up a conversation about eve while playing TF2 and afterwards everyone was like "I miss Eve :("
Rabbit 11 May, 2013 @ 4:11pm
They're all pretty ammatar actually. In the Terran Republic we have the thinly disguised police state, in the NC we have corrupt corporate leadership and with the Vanu there is the pseudo-mystical belief in the factions glorious destiny and all others inferiority. Also, the Vanu's leader is pretty ammatar "You have not failed Vanu. You have failed yourself!" (when his suggestion that you should personally retake the base from 40 enemy troops predictably fails).
Edward Tivrusky 11 May, 2013 @ 3:01pm
Planetside 2! Terran Republic is Ammatar.
Rabbit 11 May, 2013 @ 2:50pm
I'd hold off until it's on sale.
Scagga 11 May, 2013 @ 8:56am
Any thoughts about European Escalation? Looks like a decent RTS
Edward Tivrusky 8 Oct, 2012 @ 5:07pm
Ooo! Dawn of War II co-op is suprisingly entertaining.
Rabbit 8 Oct, 2012 @ 1:01pm
Divince Cybermancy gives me a headache. Not fun.
Rabbit 2 Oct, 2012 @ 12:59pm
Team Fortress counts as a pretty good game too for hanging out with your friends I think. As for non-co-op I'd have to recommend Crusader Kings II, which basically is a dynastical politics and backstabbing simulator in medieval europe.
Edward Tivrusky 30 Sep, 2012 @ 1:45pm
I've heard that EYE: Divine Cybermancy is fun co-op, but I haven't had the chance to mess with it.
Edward Tivrusky 30 Sep, 2012 @ 1:44pm
Borderlands co-op is great. Magika is great. Left for Dead is an old standby. What else?
Scagga 30 Sep, 2012 @ 11:13am
What Ammatar gaming is occurring? I am interested in Altitude and Total war, but they hardly make for good co-op. I'm also rubbish at counterstrike. Will look into Borderlands.
Rabbit 20 Sep, 2012 @ 5:37pm
Yorop! Basically GMT +2
Edward Tivrusky 20 Sep, 2012 @ 5:19pm
YAY! i have it ready to go and I've been looking for people to play with. What's your time zone again?
Rabbit 20 Sep, 2012 @ 3:28am
So. How many of you have Borderlands 2 ready to go for friday/saturday night?
I'd like to play Borderlands 2 co-op, and there is no one that I'd rather do it with than you guys.
Edward Tivrusky 9 Jul, 2012 @ 10:34pm
We should get some Ammatar gaming going on. I have a ton of Co-op games I'd like to try. Darkspore is pretty fun, and been doing Dawn of War II and Retribution in Co-op. Last Stand could be great too.
Rabbit 3 Jun, 2012 @ 10:27am
A replacement forum is up and running. I have no idea if it's going to be possible to recover/restart the old forum. But at least we have a place.
lordderish 31 Mar, 2012 @ 5:48am
Don't know, alas, but as I'm not in EVE, can't easily ask Kark who I think maintained them
Edward Tivrusky 28 Mar, 2012 @ 3:25am
Have the AFC/De;ictum forums gone down for good?
Edward Tivrusky 28 Aug, 2011 @ 12:45pm
Does anyone have the new Deus Ex? If so, how awesome is it?
