Steam release the update of XIII century today after two weeks!!! If you want mantain the game "steam-indipendent" reapply the manual patch after the steam update.

LIthuania will have a new unit of cavalry unit for sure, but she is still in test phase for Real Warfare. Will be released probably with the new patchs. Unicorn are working in parallel between Real Warfare the the patchs for BOE, so when a new things is ready for Real is implemented also for BOE.

The first is the patch (is not a setup, you must overwrite the files of game with the new one).

The second is the english translation (always overwrite).

Yes, no more necessary to start steam to play, no more necessary wait the update from steam. You must install before the shell.2.2.1.zip and after the en.2.2.1.zip. (the second one is the english translation file)

The secondo file is for english translation. Is not a autoinstall file but you must unpack and copy in the game directory.

Happen sometime when you save the replay you see the enemy point of view; need to ask to Nikolja when happen.

i use xfire's video recording and i save my replays and record those. recording during the game causes serious lag...also can anyone exlpain to me why the replay is having my army shown as the enemy while i have unikum's army in the army toolbar?

considering i actually have fun playing RTW and not XIII those changes better be so amazing, I go into shock....

Real Warfare originally was planned for russian market (Nevsky campaign); 1C decide to don't press in marketing over BoE , and to point directly to present Real Warfare as a new series, changing the name respect the original XIII century (the game after 1242 will have many and many more changes, but big changes, thrust me, never seen in a TW). Pratically they decide to compete with 1242, for the big numbers but at the same time they don't abandon the BoE users permitting to them to play with the real warfare gamers without they must purchase a new game.

hmmm something bugs me about that, I am very happy we get a free patch, but unless something is really different abould Real Warfare compared to BoE then i think 1C is adapting to CA selling plans....

The new game will be Real Warfare 1242, but BoE (that you are playing now) will be upgraded soon (i think october) to the same level of 1242 by a patch (three new factions, the lithuanian with own proper army style). So you take 1242 (the official release in west for the moment is in the first quarter of 2010) only if you want play the new single campaign (me I will take him because I terminated all the previous campaigns and I want complete also this one :) ).If you use Xfire inscribe to the group.
