Our clan (IDK) just became "most wanted clan" on Rusty Gaming

Just a little update on you guys...In the current wipe cyclus we play with the clan name IDK. We have teamed up with some good players (especially PR0SN1PER and CODEX). Mato and I are current clan moderators and I believe we are also two of most active players in clan. Nonetheless...we have made several alliances with other clans, but when it got closer to wipe, server bacame too small for all clans. Many were raided and quitted playing, but IDK stood firm. We tried many tactics how to make our loot harder to raid and obviously we soon realized smartest way to secure the loot is to devide it throughout several bases and also walling it in. That tactic helped us untill tonight.

The biggest clan on the server is FRA. I suppose they raided most bases and have most loot. Mato made allies with FRA already in the previous wipe cyclus. But for some reason FRA (Slender) has turned against me. He said (in broken english) that I am his next target and that they will make me leave the server. Reason for that is because i teamed up with Codex who is former MERCS clan member. Well i don want to make things more confusing, so i will cut this short.

In order for us to play on this server we have several choices:
1) Disband clan and stop playing together as team..hopefully FRA will leave us alone then;
2) Leave the server;
3) Do nothing and hope FRA forgets about us;
4) Team up, focus on raiding FRA only and teach them a lession.

Thing is, they have more active players than we do, so they can gather more resources than us. THey also raid in groups (3-6). For example...they raided my iceberg base and wasted 200 rockets and around 40 c4 on my base alone...they didnt get any loot because i have hidden it but still...that shows you how good they really are. We obviously cant stand chance in open fight with them, so we have to focus all our effort in raiding them and them alone...it is the only way, so it would be really useful if some of you joined the cause and help us.

New Update & Wipe

Another wipe cyclus has come. There will be an update of Rust today. I know we are all eager to see what dev team has come up with this time.

Unfortunately i wont be able to play today (17th September). I will be online tomorrow though.

As it seems, our alliance is growing and we keep getting more players to the group, which is awsome. We should really combine forces this time and make large base compound. If somebody finds good spot today, please make a sleeping bag for myself. If somebody else wants a sleeping bag, write a comment below.

P.S.: I love snow :$

New Update & Wipe

If you dont know by now, me and some other members of SunTzu clan have successfully built a small base compound...it turned out it was preety good idea, but MaTo got raided last night nonetheless. The Cupboard range changes were made in the previous update so elevator bases are a bit more difficult to build now. However i managed to build one and so far I have not been raided. But it takes A LOT of resources to build.

Later on today Dev Team will release new update. Rusty Gaming server has been one of the most popular servers (reaching up to 120 players online) so i suggest we stay on this one also after the wipe.

So if you want to join us just leave a comment below and i will place a sleeping bag for every one who wants to play in my base. Btw we use TS now.

Hey guys

Im sorry i was not on Rust past week. Since my game could not load i decided to take a little break from the game. Hopefully this week dev team fixes game, so i can play it as i used to. With this said, we can start working on our plan from the start...i dont know how you guys managed to do without me so i would be really glad is some of you writes a report...did suntzu clan came to life? Who are other clans which are to be destroyed next wipe cyclus...are there any new members to the clan?

Rust Update Crashes

Well for some reason my game keeps crashing so i can not log in to any of the servers. I am preety mad about this but cant really do anything about it but wait for the next fix (hopefully).

Failed Base Raid

You probably do not know, but SFC clan tried to raid our base yesterday. I was just going to bed when i heard c4 bangs. I immediately took all the "good" loot and hid it in to "safe room". Then i began to defend our base. It turned out that they boosted over both exterior walls and only destroyed stone wall which was also around our base. Then they destroyed one exterior armored wall on the 2nd floor and boosted up. They did the same on the 3rd floor and they somehow managed to boost all the way to the floor which has actuall ceilings...but since there were only 4 raiders only one of them managed to get up. I tried to kill them but they were teleporting back in. Funny thing is my ping was at the moment over 500 which made my defence even harder. There were 95 players online and i got disconnected very often...yeah...in the middle of the raid. I was going mad :D then they managed to blast all the doors and come to the L2 room but soon ran out of c4 to blast additional doors. I somehow killed raider who was in our loot room and that basically was the end of the raid...i soon rapaired all the walls and began to assess the damage. It turned out they only took some of the armor and clothes...they didnt get to the main loot room (which I emptied) and weapons cache. They were actually suprised how hard it was to raid our base and gave me respect in the chat. At the end they spent over 40 C4 and got only some armor and clothes in return. I believe that was a successful anti-raid and feel even more proud of my base design :D

Rust Base designs

As you probably know by now me and group member Duck were banned by the "dickhead" admin Danish on Rusty Gaming. I have already sent him Ban Appeal but did not get any reply yet. I dont think he will reply at all, but oh well. What is done is done. I will take a little break untill the next Rust Update and will focus on future base designs.

I was thinking which base design should we use in next wipe cyclus and I came up with (i think) preety good idea. If my plan with Rusticus (or whatever our name will be) will work, we should be a preety good clan. Therefore living in one base would not be such a good idea. Our alternative is to builde a base compound, with multiple bases and quarries, surrounded by one or two walls. The base compound design have to be thought out very carefully though.

There are several options how bases should be built:

1) we all use same base designs

2) we all use different base designs

3) we use base designs based on the purpose of the base (loot base is bigger than defence base, crow's nest etc.)

I dont yet know which one of above should we use, so I would like to hear your oppinion on that.

I will try to make few base designs on fortify which i will share on here, so you will have some suggestions on base designs. But if you have any questions about the base designs themselves, dont be affraid to ask at any time.
