I have an idea. What if you could capture soldiers in a a town assault and use them as either a ransom OR you could force them to fight for you so you could get not only your faction's soldiers, but soldiers of other factions as well?

We are, from now on all tournaments must be approved by myself and have either a want or a need. ie. A RTW tournament if the game is announced.

The thing with WW1 was that so many people died due to the lack of proper tactics. It was practicly "Hey, the enemy has put up one of those new machine guns. Let's all run towards it."
My point is that if you would want your units to survive you'd use more WW2-like tactics, which wouldn't really make it WW1.
Nah, Rome 2 is the only fitting Total War.

Agreed, I want CA to go back to sword and sheild. I think WW1 would be too hard to make due to trench warfare but if they could pull it off it would be great.

I have to say that I would really like the next total war to either be rome 2 or a ww1 total war. I don't mean to offend anyone but I think an American civil war would be shocking as there aren't many factions only the, Union, confederacy, and maybe some native american indian factions.
