What about the LAN Gaming doc that was created some long time ago for the same purpose? Perhaps we could get that updated and get some actitvity happening there? It's probably easier to see this in spreadsheet format than in a long discussion thread.

I created a Co-op games discussion to get some gears rolling. Match-ups can be done there along with introductions to what co-op games you own for example so it's easier to find others.

I'm not much of a multiplayer fan, and when I am, I'm generally more interested in RTS (C&C, CoH, StarCraft etc) or in cooperative multiplayer FPS (Enemy Territory, L4D etc) than team-based 'versus' combat. I don't see the appeal of MMORPG.

Sure, lure them in. We really should start organizing some actual gaming. Some are playing LoL, but that's about it.

There are a lot of new Rovians just finding out about the groups, and quite a few interested in joining LAN gaming events. We should maybe round them up and invite them in here. I've at least got two from Wildfire that I should add when I get their Steam IDs.

Well, it's as active as we make it to be. Which isn't very much, apparently. We could start a new discussion.. or maybe an event? Or comment some more stuff?
