Hi all, i'm new to the group. My main disability is colorblindness, but in august of 2017, I had a stroke, and can only game with my right arm now. I'm wheelchair bound now, too. Colorblindness and my diabetes are the least of my worries, now.

GNU/Linux is supported, demo for Ubuntu is available (tested in Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit).
If you try the demo and write something to me about your experience, it would be great!

This is a great group. Thanks for starting it.
Anybody here like me who rebinds all their keys to the right side of the keyboard.

I'm a 38 yo quadriplegic who likes to listen to politics while I play GTA 5. I play just about all day depending on my level of nerve pain. When I'm not playing I browse FB, reddit, Ebaums, Worldstar, LiveLeak, Drudge Report, Daily Mail, gifs, memes, and to cap it all off I dabble with conspiracy theory...
Don't Run I'm Fat 3 Sep, 2016 @ 11:11am
Hey all,

bit of a needy request but...

Chronic back pain means I'm unable to go out much and having left university now and moved back home with parents I'm lacking any friendship groups. Does anyone have any active groups I could join and chat to people with over skype or discord? I'm from the UK, speak English and Spanish. Would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi there~ I developed my disability when I was 11 though all my specialists were stumped until just recently. I've now been diagnosed with fibromyalgia with pain only in the lower half of the body, as well as some labral tearing and all the fun effects that come with fibro! <.< I'm always open to new friends, I'm just a bit shy. :Pbunny:

Hi @ll, I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and really enjoy pc games. I mainly play Shooters with a sugru modified keyboard in combination with a bluetooth switch. Also using Autohotkey quite a lot. If anyone needs help with it, i'll do it gladly.
RKade83 12 Jul, 2016 @ 12:17am
I was born 3 months early. My eyes are the most obvious disability but there is so much more under the hood.

Hi everyone. I don't have a disability but some of my friends do and I am using my tech skills to work with them to build controllers and find ways in which they can play. I am also trying to write tutorials so that non-technical people can help other people get into gaming.
SHADOWCATT 22 Jan, 2016 @ 7:39am
Hello. C5/6 quadriplegic here. Built my own controller so now again I can play everything. Prefer fps and racing

Hello! I have End Stage Liver Disease, and all the fun with it. I've got some cognative issues from time to time, and my legs/arms will either balloon or spasm out of control randomly. This looks like a welcoming and fun group!

I'm not great at video games, but i love Civ-likes/Turn Based Strategy, Exploration and adventure games.
saio 19 Aug, 2015 @ 1:29pm
i have depression.
chuxmix 26 May, 2015 @ 10:49am
Hello! I had a stroke and aphasia. My right side is numb, but the left side is 100%! Thank you for this!
OldGuy_4440 3 Apr, 2015 @ 8:19am
I have a 38% imparement of the left arm/hand and am left handed. Since the imparement is from the elbow down my left hand has very restricted movement ; I can't spread the fingers and have to type with the index finger and thumb. I severed the ulna nerve at the elbow in 2000. Controllers work except for the left bumper where I have to reorient the hand to reach the bumper Keyboard based games are frustrating and remapping is crucial but often inadequate.for a two digit input while maintaining mouse control. A group like this is severely needed and I just wish that game developers and hardware manufacturers would provide solutions that don't exceed the budget.

Other gamers need to also think that when they run across that player, that keeps geting killed or is having difficulties with the game mechanics, might just be playing with a handicap before the flaming starts. I love multiplayers but tend to avoid them due to the flaming I receive
HandsomeWizard 2 Apr, 2015 @ 6:51am
Hey folks. I'm legally blind, and although I suck at anything multiplayer, I've played video games for almost twenty years now. Proud to support a community of gamers with disabilities.
alufangirl1993 13 Jan, 2015 @ 5:25pm
hello, I am a high functioning autistic. I hope I am welcome here.
Neddy Seagoon 13 Jan, 2015 @ 3:25pm
'Ello peeps :)

I used to play a lot of TF2 and similar games until I lost most of my visual field due to a stroke, now it's mainly top down or turn based strategy games.
FaeDine 13 Jan, 2015 @ 12:34pm
I'm not disabled myself, but my wife is, and I'm interested in the discussion that would take place here.

Hello Everyone! I'm Eunice! I was a caretaker of a gamer. My uncle. He had Parkinson's and it was really hard for him to play certain games. We would always play games together, I would let him win because he would have the brightest smile!

So please, don't hesitate and just come talk to me! We can play games together if you want! I will be here & happy to help! :8bitheart:
