Hi all i am playing Sacred 2 Gold Edition with a friend at the moment. The games multiplayer servers are not online anymore but tunngle is doing its job so we can all connect and play over this way.

This guide will tell you how to set up your tunngle emulator for playing online with your friends.

There are at two ways to set up your router and ethernet adapter for Tunngle.

The first way is using UPNP and SSDP (let the client autmatically forwarding ports).

The 2nd is doing it manually by telling your router the network port that should be used for Tunngle.

I assume you to do not use UPNP and SSDP because they are some security holes, that i personally would not go for.

So you will have to set a port forwarding rule manually in your router.

But before doing this you need to make sure you have a completely configured IPv4 Protkoll(not automatic).
For this purpose go to your Network and Sharing Center/change adapter Settings/ right click on your ethernet adapter and set a clear IP for your computer.

For common you can read the DNS and Gatewayadress on the settings page of your router.

The standard gatewayadress is 192.168.2.1 make sure that the
IP-Adress you are going to set in your ethernet device is not the same!
Your IP-Adreess should be something like 192.168.2.XXX the last numbers are your choice and can be every number up to 255 but never be 1.
The standard subnetmask is 255.255.255.0 .

There are 2 adresses left the primary and secondary DNS wich you can get from your routers setuppage.

The final step is to set a port forward rule in your router and turn UPNP off.
There are many different models so i can not tell you how to especially do it for your routermodel. I have an Easybox 803 and can tell you exactly how to port forward with that routermodel.

If you have a Easybox 803 too, you can PN me here on Steam, so i can give you the instructions how to set the port forward rule for this one.

I am pretty sure, that we all have different routermodels and providers. So posting a instructon for the Easybox 803 will be confusing and pointless.

If you have another model. You will have to follow the instructions on this site or search for them in the internet yourself:

The protcoll of the port you need to forward is UDP.
The Port you need to forward is: 11155 (internal and external).
Thats all!

Do not change anything else than just forwarding this port!
Some routers may need a restart to save such changes!

In Tunngle you will need to deactivate UPNP and restart Tunngle.
After following all of these instructions you should be able to start tunngle with any issues caused.

You can see that Tunngle is working flawless, when the smiley on the lower left of the Tunngle Client is green and says your connection is perfect, by hovering over it.

Hi boys and girls,

i would like to know what kind of VPN Software you would go for.
There are two conventional VPN tools that i would assume to use.

Both can cause some technical issues, that we all will need to solve before we can start playing together with these VPN Server/Connection.

For both of this tools we will need to make a account.
I am pretty sure that not everyone want to make a account
for both of this software providers so i will list them here and you can inform your self:

Both can be used free and will only need a premium account for specific features(admin features).

At last i have to say that only the admins (Me) will need to pay for Premium if it wil be necessary one day (That comes to how much poeple are going to play in the networks and how many networks we will need in the future) but basic will be more than enough for now and the near future.

I will post some technical guides on how setting up tunngle first.
Because i got all technical issues solved for me with that software.

At least it is on you to decide what software we will use.

I will open up networks for playing together if you want.

I am not going to use any of the open offical networks with tunngle (for security reasons).

This Networks will have a Password: Projectrevival (common)
