If Orangebox sold 3 million in a year, i'm assuming atleast 500 000 people had access to TF2 but not sure how many actually played it during beta time. So, still thousands of people have it.

Just saying hi! Going on/offline since the beginning. Relatively low hours for the amount of time I've been around but if my hours in TFC were tracked...damn...

I basically dont add random people who just sent an invite. Some of those might would have suggested buying but selling steam account, nope! Worth way more than it appears to be.

Well my account is worth a few thousand dollars, so they'd have to make a big offer. I personally haven't had anyone try that, no.

Has anyone experienced randoms adding you with the intent of purchasing your account? Seems the Primeval Warrior badge is a bit of a holy grail for TF2 completionists.

Those were objectively the worst times of the game, though. Game was poorly balanced compared to now, we had fewer maps, and random crits had a higher percentage.

The thing I miss is the community. Actually playing to win, but not getting too serious. These days if you show any sign or hint of actually wanting to work together, you get yelled at by the teenagers on your team.

I played pirated TF2 on October 10th, 2007 'till I met a guy on a random server, he added me and got me TF2 on Steam, around May 12, 2009.

After so many years...I'm still playing.

this is my first steam account but 2nd with tf2 i started it with the xbox 360 and played it a lot with a friend at his house and then fell out as it got no updates and fell to disrepair and hackers then i left as i didn't know the games was updated on the pc version till round 2012 ish 2013 when i heard about it and went wow what the heck happened i started playing somethime in 2013 on the 14th of november so while i may not be a true one i am one in spirit to all the great times i have had with orange box tf2 and for the new ones to come with F2P tf2
