- Preheat your oven to 250c degrees. By the time you have washed your potatoes, it should be ready.
- Often wonder which spuds to choose? I personally prefer the smaller-medium sized ones. The skin is more crispy and there is less chance of them being undercooked.
- If your oven is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1970s one like mine, place potatoes on the bottom shelf. If yours was made in this decade, it shouldn't really matter too much.
- Cook for ~1 hour, until there is a slight resistence from the skin when you stick a fork into it.
- When ready, cut an X shape into the top and push down each corner. This will reveal the fluffy stuff inside.
- My preference for topping is just a good amount of butter melted through, and a pinch of curry powder. Thank you Turnip for this suggestion, you've earned yourself player of the week, and you gave me the most mind blowing potato I've ever tasted.
