Does anyone know whit is going on on the crystal isle server. I went into a cave and my game crashed i am now unable to connect to the server. I had buddy that could still connect go get my stuff. When he got to my body his game crashed and he can no longer connect to the server. Is this a glitch on the map or is the server down. We can both get connected to other servers.

@Stackhouse My neighborhood experienced a power outtage that lasted for the last 5 hours. Power is no back on, and making sure it stays on. If all is well, server will be back up soon

New server is offically up, and up to the standards I hold my servers to. There are some settings that still need fine tuning, along with some issues that I don't yet know about that will surely come up. Feel free to join in, just search the usual Ohio's Playground. Very sorry for my timing of everything. I started working on it thinking I could get it done faster than I could, and ended up not being able to finish it before I left for vacation. I am going to try and have a final version up by Thursday. It is up and a few people have been playing, just search Ohio's Playground

Any ETA on the server yet? I understand it takes time to set one up, but been having the itch for some ARK as of late and the server I found just doesn't cut it, it's on the island which is fine although I had gotten bored of it back when I was on official and I have yet to see someone on it besides me.

Gonna start working on a new server. Start messaging me with what you want to see on the server, or comment here or on a thread what you want to see on the server along with an explanation for why. We are currently looking at taking the server in a PvP direction

I'd like the previous server more aswell. EC is different, but it left me bored near the end. When something is extremely rare to get I just quit. Annunaki is still better than Extinction.

I would be up for the annunaki server but the creator(s) stopped adding new content. Instead the creator is working on the Extinction Core mod, which is very similar but has content from what ark has right now.

Due to inactivity, server will be down for a bit. Currently talking with players about creating a new server with a different main mod. When the server was created, Annunaki servers and servers on the center were rare, and we were a unique server. The server has come to be an inferior version of similar servers, so I'm going to try and find a way to make a new, reviatalized server.

I think I have finally got a stable version of the server running. Some of the server files appear to be corrupted, so I have rolled the server back to 8pm last night, March 1st. Doing one final integrity check of the server, then it will be back up.

All of my attempts the past few hours to fix the memory leak have been unsuccessful. I have isolated the issue to the ark install itself. I am completely uninstalling the ark save and will have it back up hopefully within the next hour or two

The server is currently having extreme memory leak issues. There appears to be some issue with the ARK install, and it appears to be some sort of bug that some experience within ARK. I am currently working on a solution, and will keep you guys posted

Played some tonight to test out the new mods. Cant seem to learn any of the Extinction Engrams. Or place any other mods items. (I tried glassmetal smithy, upgrade station, the castle table, s+ table) Seems like something there is broken.

I have the baseline for our new PvE server up now. I, along with everyone else, will be trying out Extinctions default level system for players and dinos. If we think we level too fast, or don't have enough levels, I will add in more. Tomorrow I will be working on getting up the new experimental server, which will be on the map Ragnarok, along with tweaking any settings on either server that you guys think needed tweaked.

The server is currently in the proccess of being wiped and switched over to the new mods. Things for the first few days are subject to change, as I adjust settings to fit the new play style

I'm all up for the server wipe, but that depends on Kyru's decision. I agree with Kyru, it doesn't look like the Annunaki Devs are going to continue on with the mod. Switching to Extinction Core or to something new would be our best option.

With all of this, I do want whatever we end up choosing to be a significant change. The server has been doing the same thing for over six months, and could definitely use a revamp. Annunaki definitely will be leaving the server sometime in the next month or two, it's just up to you all when that happens. I will create a thread for any suggestions for what the new server should be like. Be sure you all check that out, leave your opinion on the matter, and support people who have suggestions that match your interests.

Well, I have some unfortunate news. That being, it is almost certain that Annunaki has no intention of updating any further, or fixing the current issues that it is experiencing. This leaves us at a point where we have to decide where we want to go from here. Some options include:
- Sticking with Annunaki for a bit longer, with the hopes that they fix the issues. This is highly unlikely though.
- Switch to Extinction Core. This would entail a server wipe, and a general change of pace for how the server plays. This mod, as it is made by the same people, is similar to Annunaki, but is still far from the experience many of us are used to with Annunaki.
- Something completely different. This could be anything at all. Anything the community wants. If everyone wants a different mod, we can try that mod. We can drop mods, add mods, replace mods, adjust modifiers; anything at all that you guys want.

The server is runnable, and doesn't seem to be currently having any issues, aside from certain annunaki dino textures not loading properly. Still, join with caution, and test the water a bit before you start to fly around with your valuable gear.

Server will be down for the night. One or more of the mods are causing the server to crash after the Tek Tier update. Some annunaki dinos are also having an issue loading textures. We are, in the meantime, in the mercy of the mod devs, and must wait for them to update. This usually will be done within 24 hours, and I will try to get the server updated and running as soon as possible.

I will keep you updated. If any of you see that one of the mods has updated, feel free to send me a message to make sure I saw. If you have any questions, also feel free to message me, or leave them here.
