We'll be playing TF2 from 4pm PDT to 5pm PDT today. Because Steam hasn't released server software for the Mac yet, to join our game do the following:

1. Join the group chat
2. Tell us you want to play and we'll invite you to the game.

BoterHamWorst, i guess the first question is what verison of the OS are you running, need 10.6.3 to run portal. also what version of the macbook do you have, the unibody macbooks i've seen have done well, havnt had a chance to see the older macbooks attempt portal yet though

I'm having the same problem with tf2 disappearing. But I guess that's just a bug that'll be gone soon.

I'm so HAPPY about steam for mac. Seriously.

Portal plays fantastically well on my unibody Macbook (2008). I used a smidgeon of the recomended settings (no anti-alias), but I turned shaders to high and am running at 16:10 widescreen with virtually no slow down! Maxing out the RAM to 6 gigs has nearly done away with loading times too.

I bought The Orange Box on my PC account a while ago, but for some odd reason, TF2 isn't on my games list, but TF (which I never played) IS there. I'm sure they'll work out the bugs. Anyone else seeing discrepancies in their games lists?
