Feature Adding CS:GO Autoexec

I have a neat, VAC-friendly configuration file for CS:GO; I'd thought I'd share it.

What is an Autoexec and what will it do for me?

YouTube: Walking through the Autoexec
What: It's a configuration script that will run every time you open CS:GO
Why: I've customized it so it adds features to enhance your CS:GO experience

Features:

Console Shortcuts (ie: instead of typing give weapon_awp in a practice server, just type 'awp')
Pre-loads settings that are great to practice with... Don't like them? Quickly change them with the Console Shortcuts!
Pre-loads settings that will make you a better, more aware teammate
List of Crosshairs that the pros use
Gives you Tips from the pros to make you a better player by typing Tips in the console
Advanced Aliases (like +creep and +jumpthrow) you'll read about later
Aliases for Map Strats (which you can set up to be automatically bound to certain keys)
Commented command lines, so you can go through and tweak/change at your preference

NOTE: Strongly consider removing the my binds & personal settings in last section of this autoexec. You'll see it... it's this...

I dont want you to rebind your ♥♥♥♥ by accident! You may remove what's below the giant block of ///////'s. Any personalization you make to the autoexec should be added to be BELOW this section. Why? So it'll be easier for you to update to the new version in the future
Save the file as 'autoexec.cfg' in the appropriate folder. Commonly it's C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg ... No, autoexec.cfg.txt isn't going to work.
Restart/Start your game. From that point forward, my autoexec will automatically run itself
NOTE: Always run autoexec again when create your own server or change the map on your server. Type 'rg' to reset the game/match so the server settings take effect, then type 'ae' again for safe measure. So basically type ae, then rg, then ae again after you spawn

I update the content of that link REGULARLY- Always update!

Valve release creates issue for the in-console menu

In the CSGO Release Notes for 8/3/2016, valve states they have made "Misc security improvements."

They no longer allow lengthy config files to be run while connected to a server. They will allow them to be run while unconnected. They also disallowed ALL echo commands from being populated from config files. This affects the ocean6autoexec in-console menu from populating

I've contacted csgoteamfeedback@valvesoftware.com about this - please e-mail them asking them to re-allow the echo command from config files.

-Added the alias 'showpene' or 'showpenetration' which toggles the mode that allows you to see bullet impacts, bullet penetration, damage of each of them, and where the bullet STOPS

-Added MOTD to toggle the "message of the day" disable command. ESEA, FaceIT, & CEVO users often need the MOTD to be enabled.

-Added warmup command for the bot warmup map aim_botz (available through the steam workshop if you don't have it)

-Added xhmap command for the crosshair customizer map xhair_v2 (available through the steam workshop if you don't have it)
-Changed all crosshair commands that started with 'ch' to 'xh... New commands are as follows: xhblue, xhgreen, xhpink, xhlist, xhmap, xhsettings

-Fixed minor bugs

-Fixed bug with 'grenthick' where it wouldn't toggle

-Cleaned up the autoexec menu in console by shortening some descriptions that made the menu sloppy for lower resolution users

-In my personal binds section I listed out every bindable key on the keyboard & mouse. I recommend you do this for your config personally. It will aid in finding bindable keys

-In my personal binds section I added an alias called 'vm' & 'vm1920' that allows me to quickly toggle between fullscreen & fullscreen-windowed mode, which allows me to fix the black textures issue that occurs on cache. Also, I play in fullscreen for brightness reasons; but, fullscreen-windowed allows me to watch videos while testing things out on my own server and alt-tab quicker... If you want to try it out, just steal it and customize it to the resolution that you use. This will stay in the the personal section of the autoexec and not become an official feature.

-In my personal binds section I added an alias for "lan" which would allow me to connect other (virtual machine) clients on my LAN to connect to my server without having to mash in the IP address every time. This will stay in the the personal section of the autoexec and not become an official feature.

-In my personal binds section I changed my cl_crosshair_sniper_width to 3, which is amazeballs.
