Happy Pride Month (2023)!

It's that time of year again, when profile pictures go rainbow and we as a community celebrate our identities. For me, being nonbinary is an important part of my gender and will always be. When I first started this page, I actually identified purely as nonbinary and using they/them pronouns. Now I'm a demiboy who uses he/they pronouns! I try to include all kinds of identities in this page whenever it's possible because for some people the term nonbinary is an umbrella and their labels are more specific, and some might only just identify with the concept/general term. Which is completely okay and should be encouraged. Our identities is what make us unique from one another and this is why we all come together each year and should acknowledge our history, cherish the present, and foster a positive future. Speaking of that, we should all try and make an effort to be there for each other and unify as a community. Some of the world is a bit scary right now, and it's important to have each others backs.

Although this page might just be for Steam games, I'm glad I can share this page with people who might even need it more than me when it comes to looking for games to play on here. I've seen a comment or two about how impactful this page has been for somebody and it just blows me away that my little hobby can affect people positively.

As of writing this announcement (just after midnight on June 1st)
We have 1,868 followers... I cant express how incredibly thankful I am to our followers and game developers alike for this page to grow so big! Also apologizes for missing the 1.5K milestone, life as been a bit busy on my end.
Doubling down on my thanks to developers, sometimes I get sent games through curator connect and I couldn't tell you how that makes my day or sometimes even week. I try and make sure the game is relevant before accepting because I have made the mistake of accepting relevant games before (sorry to those people, there's no undo button). If you are interested in letting me know about your game, you don't have to send it you can just leave a comment in the ongoing discussion thread or even just in the group! I love the collaborative efforts from the community because it also brings to my attention things I may have gotten wrong in my reviews or games that would've missed my attention otherwise!

This announcement is starting to get a bit long but I'm going to try and make an extra effort this month to find games I may not have covered before. I urge passionate followers to use the discussion thread or even the comments of this announcement if you so please to show me games that have not been covered yet, and I'll do some extra digging on my end. I hope you all stay physically safe and mentally well this month!

Wow! 1000 Unique followers. This feels like a big milestone!! :) When I'm not swamped with college I promise to try and find some more positive games to add onto the curator page. Lately all I can seem to find are the horribly made nsfw games

Wow 900 Followers!

I checked on this curator page the other day and I couldn't believe the amount of followers we have! I'm so happy that there's 900 others looking for this kind of representation in games! Plus there's now over 50 members in the group I had to make to get a curator page!

I just wanted to let everyone know that despite how escatic I am about how well the page is doing, new curator reviews will be very sporadic. I'm in a new college since I first started this page and it seems to take a lot more time out of my day, which also means it takes a big toll on my energy levels (physically and mentally). I'm just one person running this page as a hobby. Also sometimes I don't get on my computer for a while and forget about steam which adds to my sporadity of my updates. But I hope you guys will stay tuned for whenever I post updates.

And I really appreciate the comments left on the discussion thread. Some games I have to do deeper research on since the representation isn't obvious at first on a game steams page. This definitely saves me time when looking into recent and upcoming releases. So thank you guys so much!!

Sims 4 Got A Pronoun Update!

Shout-out to my sim obsessed friend for this: The Sims got an update that allows you to edit their pronouns and also add your own custom pronouns! How cool is that?! :) I updated my curator review accordingly

We now have 300 games featured in our curator page 🎉

300 seems like a big important number I don't know
I just hyperfocused on going down a rabbit hole of trying to find obscurer games and then at the end I was met with this number.

The purpose of this page is to find games with any non-binary representation in it. Sadly this includes me finding some awful things, don't even get me started on "futa"... But I hope that I can highlight the other games I've found and possibly bring attention to games that may have otherwise been hidden gems

Most of the time I recommend games that have also have good queer representation, good non-binary representation, or above and beyond nonbinary representation.
Games that are informational tend to just be a minor character being nonbinary, just being able to choose pronouns and that's it, or one of those text-only novels

I figured there should be some kind of "key" for why I recommend games and mark others as informational. Most of the time I just go by the vibe I get from the research I need to put into it

I really can't wait to find more games with representation, I've found it's been slightly easier to find games to put on this page since I've first started this page a year ago which feels really awesome.

If you see this announcement and are actually reading it, I appreciate any and all help! Please tell me if any of my reviews have incorrect information, or of course if you see a game I haven't covered yet! I am just one college student running this page as a hobby so there's only so much time I can put into this. I don't really have the time to play through most of these games (which is why I research them).

Also if you see this announcement as somebody wanting to send me their game to review. First of all, thank you so much, oh my goodness! It's been really cool to receive some games from this page. Secondly, I'd really appreciate it if you told me what character is non-binary and what pronouns they use- or what the player can customize, etc. Please don't send me the game if there is no non-binary characters in it, this includes if there was a non-binary game dev involved. This page is focusing on the characters in the game only I'm only saying this because I have been sent a BL and a game worked on by a non-binary dev with no non-binary characters in it
