Do we have any scripters in NMI that could give me some advice when that time comes? Scripting gave me some headaches building in Neverwinter Nights, and I am assuming scripting with Papyrus is going to be a lot more in-depth.
That being said, I check the worshop's "recent release" mods quite often, and I am seeing a lot of duplicate mods out there by different authors. I feel the trick si going to be coming up with unique content, finding something that nobody has tried yet.
I've had a few ideas, but I haven't developed the skills yet with the Creation Kit to make them a reality. I'm going to have to spend more of my free time watching videos, reading articles, and praticing with the C.K.
but maybe the small items like potions and keys can simply be set as euipable??? in which case all you would have to do is figure out how to place them on the body.
It is already out. There is a mod that gives you dragon mounts, bear mounts, and a few others.
Just started messing with the Creation Kit this week, still learning by the day. Spent a LOT of time in the Neverwinter Nights toolset back in the day, so the concepts are there, just have to learn the CK's tools.
Just working on the finishing touches of something I was thinking of submitting as a mod (my first!). Glad to hear about the possiblity of Sigurd88 joining the group! Always nice to have a veteran scripter around =)
Had a hard time scripting in NwN's toolset, and having not even began to look into Skyrim scripts
Sword of Dismemberment!
Idea being that no matter how powerful the enemy, the sword is garenteed to dismember your oponent, and always run through the cinematic kills. over powered? ya probably, but so is the staff of sweetrolls!
Or what about restoration spells that give you a temporary stat boost, like in the previous TES games?. It would rise attack speed, 1hand/ 2hand/ bow damage increase e.t.c
Sorry bud, but I am only a creation kit modder myself. I cant do modeling work as I do not have the skill. I'll post an announcement for ya to see if one of our members can help you out.
They look very nice and the problem is that i'm not a modder, but want to be one -> but got no time because the work dont let me <.<

i just want to ask you if you could imagine that someone create a mod about 2 swords?
Got Pics of them and would be happy if someone can create it.
Send requests to me for those pictures
and even have some quests to go with it. even a bank of skyrim. the courier can deliver a notice of debt if you take a loan and if you can't pay up the bank then sends thugs out to get their money!
As for blocking; I was thinking of a stanind dwimmer machine that will continually hit your shield when raised, but your idea of simply making a low level npc would probably be easier, & even more effective then my first thoughts.
euip red dye to Ebony armor (that part you would have to script) replace ebony armor with Ebony armorRed. Maybe enchanting would be easiest way to go about it, or tanning rack. then you dont have to create a new script for apply the item to an armor. I will make it myself If you can get me the colored armors that you want, maybe as a small mod that just has all the armors in it (Label as BISS <item>) (BISS is preference for makeing them easy to find.) I will set it all up and publish, and include your screen name for the idea in the description...
I just dont know how to color items. otherwise I would do the whole thing.
