Welp. RIP I guess. Sad, they were some of my favorite games to just kinda chill out and vibe to. Seriously, I would've kept buying and playing even without the Waifus. It was difficult enough for me to focus but chill enough to zone out, a nice break from other bullet hells.

What's strange to me is that thier last game, Legends, the one that's still in Coming Soon...has reviews claiming they played it.That means they actually did have a functional build that was getting good reviews from all the reviewers. Why not release it? Even if they ran out of cash and were going to close, why would you not release what you had for the cash infusion? Even if you were going to break up, split the last sales first.

Look bifuriousplaid and other people; as someone who seen countless people drop off the face of the internet multiple times, people just like to go MIA and will walk away from a cash cow when they have something successful, hell I did that with old channels of mine on YT when some of them did gain traction.

This is dark, but if we have absolute radio silence...did the developer die? Not making light of anything here. I know my wife has followed writers online that suddenly stop writing only to find out they have (or likely have) passed. I only bring it up because there isn't even a casual update explaining what the deal is. I hope this isn't the case. I just want *someone* (developer or their adjacent) to give a clear answer.

That theory doesn't look possible; for one why would they get up and leave with not mentioning this? Why leave a dead end and not tell your fans?

First, they rebranded as Hammerfist Studios, but sadly, their "newest" game hasnt sold for much...

Their new game has sold about 1500 or less copies, vs the deep space waifu saga that has sold over 400,000.

either theyre developing a new game in secret (thats extremelly unlikely and dumb as theire experienced devs and keeping games a secret is bad bussiness), which i doubt, as one markets on day one to assure sales.
Or..

They ran outta cash and that was their last game (95% of games and game studios end up failing so its extremelly likely)

Well, who knows, i know this stuff as i am a game developer and studio head myself, and its sad to see the end of another game studio, but fairly common.

Looking to contact the game developer. Is this the right spot? I played this game years ago. This series has great music, amazing mechanics, and is overall just fun to play! Is there any chance a spin off series could be made in the future that dropped the ludeness? There is nothing wrong with it but its not the type of game I find myself playing these days. Maybe instead of shooting clothes off girls one could break stone or ice off someone who has been petrified and then unlock them as a playable character who has a special attack.

This is really to the devs of the Deep Space Waifu franchise, in Neko Climax Studios. I did not see Deep Space Waifu Fantasy get released, a few months ago, but due to Steams pricing changes, there is no regional Australian pricing for DSW: Fantasy or even the first two installments (which I have bought), and the only game in the franchise that has a pricing in Australian dollars is the Nekomimi. Can someone at the dev studio's actually set some regional prices to the first two installments for anyone who has not bought them, and for the fantasy one as well. I'm 99% likely to buy the new installment, but I'd love to add Fantasy to my library as well. Cheers.
