Real reason behind playing Team Fortress 2 for me was the community, espically the HmX one. I finally got to know a bunch of staff and everyone and people started to recognize me. It felt like i knew who i was when people recognized me and said hi to me. When it all shutdown my stomach hurt. I didn't want to do anything but just wait for a announcment so say that HmX is back. It was the only thing i played at that time and it was really shocking news for me. After that i completely changed my whole profile and tried to start all over again. I've been trying to join naPalm's server now but it's not willing to work. I hope the creator of HmX will feel better and maybe feel like it's actual fun to start working on servers again.

HmX makes us proud. HmX makes us better. HmX is good. HmX is life.

tbh i feel lost without hmx

I can't even play on another dr server because I had been playing these servers for 2 almost 3 years but it's something that just makes me want a server with all the silly stuff that hmx had and the wierd maps

Of course. While I do love HmX, I can't simply stay back in the past. (Even though duh, I'd love to be there for HmX and a few other servers that I loved ages ago) But time moves on. And TF2 is by far one of my most beloved games ever.
I can't just stop playing it because of this, there are so many other things to love about this game that no other game has. :)

But HmX, NaPalm, the admins, the community. All of you guys have my utmost respect, and if in a few years you manage to bring HmX back or move to something new, I'm all the way for that! :) Stay well guys

Again, only HmX had that. And aside from that silly stuff, HmX had hands down the best DR servers.

To be totally honest here I never knew HmX would last this long, I have been a fan of HmX and the community itself but to see it go down was heartbraking. For one I have been playing deathrun on HmX half my hours on TF2 and it was fun each day to play and BHOP all over the place it was facinating but to see it go down was sad. I hope you decide one day to host it back up.

The HmX community had almost 1.500 Group members and a lot more playing on the servers... many people don't even know about this "new HmX" yet.
