hey, my config utility cant find my copy of mw2 on my pc... mw2 is on the C disk but the program on the D disk. how can i add the mw2 copy to the tool? thanks.

It is very difficult to find a copy because {LINK REMOVED}mw2config.com is still down. The {LINK REMOVED}forums.steampowered.com discussion link is broken. I tried a few other sites: MPGH, Megaupload URL on a YouTube Video, second page of Google... and managed to find a working copy but couldn't guarantee that would last. This drive link should.

when i try to start mw2 with a different profile it shows me the msg: "Make sure you play a round of MW2 to sync your new profile" and even if i play and try again same msg comes out
(i tried 2 plat using default and the same)
any ideas? :/

Hi, I just wanna know if this is really safe?coz i get banned after using it in just 1 day, i dunno why, coz i deleted my 10th prestige character and make it to lvl 1 coz i went to a moded lobby before i though its a good thing coz per kill is 10,000 exp, and then my friend said that IW ban people who have a weird stats. Im just wandering how can I get back my other account?please help and reply

I have a problem when i play domination... When the enemy is capturing friendly flags, they don´t flash on the mini map. Is this something MW2 Config. util. known to cause?

Other anti-virus software has flagged it aswell, and then they remove the error if you contact them.... Kapersky was detecting black ops as a virus for a few weeks.

@sharku: make sure steam sync is on for MW2, I believe you can actually disable it.

Question: A friend loses his rank every time he shuts off his computer, he is at level prestige lvl 64 in the start, almost at 65, after a few rounds he is at 65, I have seen him play all day and get to lvl 68, then boom next day at 64 again.. I am trying to help him out. I thought the player information is stored at the central servers am I mistaken ?

Great program the backup feature is useful as well as turning off the music.

Resetting your rank starts everything over again, it erases everything. There is no way to 'legally' pick and choose what to restore.

if i reset rank using the config, does it also reset my stats? a hacker reset all my kill and wins to negitive numbers. If not how would i reset my stats? thaks

View the ReadMe.html file that comes with the program. It tells you how to fix that problem. You need to update your Microsoft .NET framework.

When you switch profiles, For the Record and Spec Ops was erased :(
