Backstabs are an efficient muffin delivery system. The fact that you die is because the muffin is so glorious to behold, you can't contain your own joy (or bodily excrements) and thus die from chronic heart failure. But as the saying goes, it is better to have had a muffin than to....well the opposite I guess. Profound.
