Ark Server - The Center is back to it's original state

I've got even better news, I recovered the most recent save for The Center!

I had to dedicate my macbook to loading it up. Hours of CPU time and 10GB of RAM later I got the server to start! Once it was up I was able to run the "DestroyWildDinos" command which also took all night to run.

The issue was that a bug in The Center was causing a rediculous amount of wild dinos to spawn until the server crashed and the map became too big to load.

Now I have a good save and the server is back up to its original state!

I've got slightly better news than my last announcement.

After re-installing the server completely I was able to revert to a backup made on May 18th for The Center. It's a week old but better than having to start from zero.

Starting Friday night I am going to have boosted resource gather rates during the long weekend so we can catch back up.

So... I've got bad news. There was a bug with Ark on the map "The Center" which caused stupid amounts of wild spawns and somehow corrupted the world saves.

I went back to a VM snapshot before I did the update AND to my earliest world backup on the 23rd and I can't get any of the backups to load.

If it's any consolation I can do increased gather rates over the long weekend.

I guess this kinda comes with playing a game that's still in beta :(
