Mechwarrior Living Legends mod is up to 4.3 Beta, as of 4.0 the switch to crisis WARS has begun. There are seperate installers and servers for each edition, if you're thinking of jumping in make sure you get crisis WARHEAD (includes crisis wars) or Maximum Edition (includes both original crysis and crysiswars). Also after installer downloads 4.0 and checks for updates I think you have to manually click on the check for updates in the launcher a couple more times, closing the launcher in between to get it to version 4.3

Anyone else hate Harmony Gold for just sitting on their horrible Macross mutilation and trying to sue everytime someone tries to use Macross designs that they got licensing for? Harmony Gold may own the Robotech license but Macross is the original and that's who FASA licensed the mechs from.

Not to mention them attacking Mechwarrior 3015 when the Warhammer in it is sufficiently different in design to not violate any copyrights.

Not sure why there is no announcement for this but mekpak 3.1 is up for download at mektek. It comes with the microsoft Mech packs too!

i have the four rare Ares colossal class configs, the Construction Mech MkII and the "Headmaster" Atlas :D (plus infantry such as Kanazuchi)

ok, ty...they have made so many mechwarrior/battletech games, i wouldn't suprise me if they stopped..

any idea when a new mechwarrior will come out? i have played and replayed 3&4, and am looking foward to a new one. i saw a thing for a mechwarrior mod that used the crysis engine, AWESOME.

Of course there will be many people complaining, but after all it is just the beginning of all new Mechwarrior series and hopefully they will make more games after this game. and then they can go further into the Clan-wars etc, while introducing the mechs like Mad Cat again.


i bet, if this game will be successful, with all the new features and ♥♥♥♥, then they defo will make more games

how many people are gonna whine and complain that it doesn't have the mad-cat or daishi in it? takes place in 3015 right? long before the cat.

First of all this game won't be MW5. That means, whatever happened in the previous MW games, this will be new stuff. So you can't compare it with the old games.

The guy you are playing grew up on this planet, and now he has to defend it. In my opinion it is obvious that you will fight for this planet, there are enough innovations you can add to such an idea.

Where do you know that the game takes place on Deshler? Just because the trailer says this it hasn't apply for the whole game, has it? I think the campaign will be acted out on different planet as it was in MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries
