It's indeed looking grim right now, it's been ages we heard of any update about the model. I'm not ready to let the ida die just yet, though!

So whatever happened to this idea? Don't tell me it's dead. :(

Actually, they're pretty much done with the model and animation. They're just trying to find a way to put it into the game without lagging the server too much.

This sucks pretty bad, the script barely works and doesn't function properly. I see no tricyles whenever I'm playing, I can't ring the bell as well, It's so freakin' worthless and pointless. I say you should scratch it and work on something more promising.

Sounds great, even though it's an upgrade over the basic melee weapon, the TANK isn't the only offender of some mentalities that melee weapons ought to be worth using. o-o

I'm sorry to have to do this, but the Escapist clan need some help... As some of you know, Escapist are hosting March Mayhem at the moment, a knockout vote between 64 devs. Someone thought it'd be hilarious to include Zynga (farmville, zooville etc) with the real game developers, and they've advertised. So far, Zynga have taken out Infinity Ward and Rockstar, and if this carries on the way it's going, Square Enix will be the next to fall. This isn't about Zynga, Squeenix, Console or PC gamers. This is about Gamers v Casuals, and I refuse to let a horde of casuals prove themselves better than real gamers. It would be nice if it went just a tiny bit faster, but it is shaping up fairly nicely.

From what I tried, the TANK does its job pretty well. Decreased dependancy on teleporters and medics. The only problem is that it doesn't have any downsides.

1.2 is going up on my server as I'm typing this. Once I restart all will be ready to go.

Seems to be an excellent idea. The first thing I'd have to consider is "does it mesh with the humor of the TF2 universe?" and considering Jarate exists.... I'd have to answer: Yes. Yes it does.

I love the idea of the TANK. It's humorous, and a much better fix to the Heavy's speed problems then the GRU. Hopefully Valve pays attention to this.
