Hey! Wow, it's been a while, but I'm back, baby!

Today I'm announcing my new game, CASCADOU!

It is a delightful chain‑reaction deck builder where poker hands topple into each other like exploding dominoes. Each round raises the target score, so you must plan your sequence, trigger explosive cascades, and use smart upgrades to keep your run alive!



I have long wanted to design a card game, and have tried to prototype a few. Cascadou comes from an unreleased prototype for a game I started on in 2013, called 'A game for Jena'. I took that central game mechanic and applied it to poker hands on a table, combined with classic score-increasing that has been popularized by roguelikes over the past years.

It has resulted in a really fun game, by far the most fun I have made. I've spent countless hours just playing the game instead of working on it!
