Matt has set an assignment for the 18th of December there is no excuse so if you want to continue the course for the love of god complete it before the deadline no moaning about how you were busy or ill because that is a load of rubbish

Matthew has changed the deadline of the first 3D modelling assignment to next week do not forget to do it a event reminder has been set for Thursday so no complaining you were not told you should have a constant presence on either the facebook group or the steam group you miss a deadline its your fault therefore the consequences that you face were given to you for a reason (Also being off ill or whatever is not a free pass(Unless Hospitalized) not to get your assignment emailed to the lecturer)

If you signed up for the ESO beta and didn't get a code then dont worry go to your E-mails and there should be a lovley little beta access code sat there waiting for you to input it failing that i have one extra beta access codes that i am willing to give to anyone who wants an chance at the Elder Scrolls Online BETA (Talk to me in class for the code)

So I took a quite look at the green light page and came across this project. Its on kick starter at the moment, and is inspired from the Alien movies and stuff, looks really interesting from the early models and concept art.

This is clearly a huge project, but if you look closely you can see that the artist has worked on one other kick starter, but he was hired because of his portfolio.

"After looking at Adam’s stunning work and extensive portfolio, I knew he was the right man for the job. "

This goes to show that you don't need to have a ton of experience of work in the industry, the other guys are professionals too but I couldn't see what other stuff they worked on. But you can tell that if you build up an extensive and interesting portfolio, it can lead you places.

Obviously, this is probably one of the best things on greenlight and kickstarter at the moment, were probably not aiming this high or complex but where not far off either. Time to find a bad project.
