Awesome Game, wish for Steam-Version

I'd like a remaster akin to the FF9 Moguri Mod, please.
I'd take full-reso pre-rendered bakgrounds.

A remake would be enticing but if not done right, whats the point.

Im just trying to find a way to play this game on pc even as the classic version!! One of my all time favorite PS1 games and ROMS dont seem to be a choice anymore since they are being cracked down on!

Looking at all the trolls comments talking about there will never be a remake when a year later in 2019 bluepoint is going to remake it or produce a sequel. xD Letsss goo 2020 , FF7 remake release and actual hope for a sequel or remake of TLOD!!

Not sure how old the comments are. There won't ever be a remake of LOD or remaster version, sadly. The developers of the game disbanded after creating the game. Not sure if they went bankrupt or had a dispute. Just a rumor though. SONY might not have the same files anymore that was used to make the game. I remember reading this info on a credible gaming website years ago...Can't remember where. At one point, SCEA decided to make a prequel for LOD which was in production but for some unknown reason they cancelled it. Sorry to destroy your hopes everyone. I do wish and hope that they will remake it...somehow.

I remember fans did try to make a LOD2. They were so dedicated that they had a forum to help eachother with character designs, 3D modeling, coding, storyline and etc. Because there weren't alot of people donating, no support, not enough people to help with character creation/coding, etc...they had to drop the project. The forum hasn't been running for 8-9 years now.

Is Steam working on getting this game on their site? I would love to play it again, and pay full price for the chance

So, you want a dying company to remake an old game, that is purely fueled on nostalgia MORE than ff7! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT HAHAH.

Deal with it this game is never being remade. Wanna know why ff7 was remade? Because square enix wanted a cash cow and is now releasing a multi part 60$ game with probable dlc. This game will NEVER be remade because it was in the same situation ff7 was in, except this game is much less popular. It's so funny to see you guys trying petitions, the only way this game will ever be remade, is if a fanboy is CEO, or if someone makes a kickstarter for the game and gets 100k+ for the company that made this nastalga heap.

I sincerely hope with all this Final Fantasy on Steam hype, Square might finally start looking at making LOD a steam title for us diehard fans.

I need this back in my life. Still my favorite game to this day. Such a masterpiece! Will definitely purchase again if were to ever do a remastered or even Prequel/Sequel.

legend of dragoon is among some of my favorite games i still play it even today on my ps3 we really need a pc version of legend of dragoon a remastered version first and than a legends of dragoon 2

Not that i'm saying to do this cause it is of course illegal but you can get a copy of the psx game ISO's from rom sites. And then use the emulator to play it or if you are like me i have a psp older type 1000 but the 2000, 3000 still work too. You can mod it with custom firmware to run psx games on your old psp. It actually worked wonderful there are guides out there for all of this see google. I was ok to play the game on emulator cause I still have my orginal copy of LOD and All my FF games on PSX also. ;) There are options out there for now. And best part of psp way you can take it with you anywheres and brag about it :)

There has been many time that I have tried to replay this game but every time i try something messes up, and its more difficult to get an actual set of the disks, so i would love for this game to come over to pc and/or remastered. It would be awesome!

I started with Final Fantasy and it was the best thing in the world for me. Then I met Legend of Dragoon, from there falling in love with the story and characters. Awesome battle sequence and over all best game I've played in that genre for sure. Please bring this masterpiece back somehow!!! Remaster it so people can fall for it then go make a second one because this will definitely sell!!

This was the first RPGs that blew me away. The combat was great, storyline was badass, and all of the towns and cities were unique and beautiful. By far my favorite disc was 2! Losing your stone and the quest to get it back... ugh I wish steam had this!

I would mind a release a finished release of the Legend of Dragoons 2. Especially since they had started it then dropped the title. A re-release for pc of the original with updated graphics would be an awesome deal as well. It was definitely hidden under the shadow of the Final Fantasy, but it was just as good if not actually better then most of them.

I don't want a LoD2, I want a PORT. If steam can give everything else a port including almost EVERY FF title they can sure as ♥♥♥♥ get us LoD as a port to PC (maybe Mac).

i've been checking steam for this game quite often and im really upset that it hasn't been added yet. The game is amazing and i actually preferred it over FF7,8,9 etc

I would love to have achievements and everything included in it. One thing I wish wish wish it had was subtitles on cutscenes. I'm deaf, and I can't hear what cut scene was saying. I didn't know until few years back when friend of mine was watching it and he asked how did I know what they were saying. I said what are you talking about it just cut scene of what happen in past like black monster. Then I realized I missed out vital information on story line. But hands down one of the best game I own. Have few copies of it just in case of original fails lol now I don't have to worry about that because I have digital copy woot woot! Sequel or remake or original on steam, I'm all for it!

If they can redo all these damn FF games and put it on steam they sure can do LOD. Hell most of us would just like to play it without a PSX emulator. I Loved the game so much I replayed it last year on my old PSP 1000. Its still one of those games that was unique enough to remember almost all details about it. I love how they gave you multi hit moves that you had to time just right to keep them going or had to hit O to counter the counter. The videos were great for its time. I still have the game kicking around the house. A second game would be great but first bring back the original.

I played this game when I was around 8, maybe even younger, and the impression still is lasting. The fact that I remember the title with a brain that can't recall yesterday's dinner, and the fact that I long to play after all this time made me look it up, hoping for a possibility of playing again.

This is still my favourite game of all time. Have to agree with mangahoarder, I don't think a sequel would ever work, but a remake, as much as I love the idea, would have to be done just right or it would disappoint us all
