bei mir läuft das spiel uncut wenn mit left4uncut gestartet, crasht aber im game nach ein paar min (1-3 min). Ich habe die Linux Beta benutzt die ich in windows hineinkopiert habe. // Using the linux Beta wich i copied to windows i got the game to run uncut, but just for 1 to 2 minutes before it crashes. bei mir stürzt die exe auch immer ab... left 4 uncut exe funktioniert nicht mehr.. programm wird geschlossen blabla.. was kann ich tun ? nichts geht egal ob ich es als admin starte oder nicht.. das ist nicht ganz ne sekunde offen dann stürzt das ab..

In Australia, here, have a problem with the left 4 dead 2 uncut patch. Extracted it from zip folder and run as admin. but crashes on launch saying 'left4uncut.exe' has stopped working and only option there is to close. Everytime. Am I installing it right or what. Really annoying and I want to be able to play uncensored. I know a lot of people have this problem but is there any solution/fix or suggestions you could make? Thanks.

Also bei mir freezed es auch, selbst genau nach Anleitung klappt mein L4d2 nicht mehr! Der Launcher will nicht mehr, liegt denke ich an Steam!

hi ich habe ein Probleme mit dem Left4Uncut, und zwar höre ich keinen Aktivierungssound mein Fenster minimiert sich auch nicht. Danach kann ich left4uncut auch nicht mehr normal schließen, sondern muss es mit rechtsklick unten in der taskleiste beenden.

Ich benutzt Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Kompatibilitätsmodus Win.Vista SP2 brachte genauso wenig Erfolg, ausserdem musste ich das Programm davor in die Datenausführungsverhinderung eintragen, da es sonst gleich beim Start abstürzt.

Das Spiel ist ebenfalls in Australien zensiert - und zu allem Übel noch hinzu bin ich selbst australier ;) Und MetalHunter muss ich rechtgeben, beim testen lief es bei mir ebenfalls ohne probleme.

Was ich nicht checke ist, warum wir Englisch reden obwohl das Spiel nur in Deutschland zensiert ist....naja egal, wenn man den Tabulator Knopf im Multiplayer Moidus drückt stürzt das Spiel ab. Deswegen^^. Sonst läuft als Administrator suppa

ok i did what fanatic said and it worked for about a week.
but today i play with a friend and i get the gore on singleplayer but i play with a friend and i only get blood splatter on the screen.
singleplayer is fine.
any suggestions?

@llama: restart the application and do not press the L4U symbol in the task-list, just do what you've been taught to from the readme.txt

it aint a fake, did you download it from https://sites.google.com/site/left4uncut/ ? If so, try it with UAC disabled or simply run the program as administrator.

I Think this is a Fake!! Because it dont works for me! Error: ''Left4uncut.exe dont works anymore and has to be closed'' , this Error is on: Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit. Where i can find a FIX?!?!?!

Hey guys, has anyone else gotten a BSOD while using Fanatic's Left4Uncut fix? Me and my friend have both had them and we can't think of any other potential cause. Otherwise it is really awesome.

Wird es eine neue version geben? Leider funzt 2.1 nicht mehr seit dieser Woche.

meh, it was my group I created for my tool in the first place lol. Then my account got hacked, that little ♥♥♥ threw me out of my own group and then didnt pay attention to this anymore. Anyway, nice to see people using the little helpful tool. Also, I've just released V2.0 of it, which supports both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2!

I have actually written to a few influential parties about this matter. The peoblem is that in Australia, we dont have a clasification system for games that should really fall into an 18+ category. For those who are wanting change, write to the PM, plus whoever becomes opposition leader next week if Tirnbull is outed, plus the office of literiature and film clasification. I will be doing some work myself on how to get the message out there. The level of censorship on this game is just unbelievable, and so think this is selling on shelves for 110$. Its incredible.
