The tournament is finally over which took us two days to complete :)
Thanks to everyone who were participating! It was a really good time.
And I almost forgot, sorry for such a long delay posting it.

Article 2. Results

Let's get back to the stats again. 24 matches, 12 hours of gameplay...
That would be great if it was true but some users weren't able to join us, anyways we were pretty close to it :)

The first stage of the tournament is over.

Today we will finish the tournament. Time will be written here later and sent personally to every participant :)

For non-attendance on the tournament you'll get a technical defeat.
Every participant who will come to the tournament will force us to shift the beginning time of matches for ealier time.

We'll keep streaming as we were doing yesterday :)

Article 1. Briefing

Thanks to everyone who joined us to participate in the today's tournament!
There are 24 participants, it's even more than we planned to get!
Let's get to the stats.

24 matches. 24 participants. 12 hours of gameplay.

Today is an important quater-finals day - 16 matches. We'll begin the tournament at 16:00 and will end it at 00:00 (MSK Timezone).

For non-attendance on the tournament you'll get a technical defeat.
Every participant who will come to the tournament will force us to shift the beginning time of matches for ealier time.

We'll try to keep streaming on YouTube, but we're still not sure about it.

Rules Update #1

We're ready to publish an update supporting one participiant suggestion.
I think he's right about it and players will get better experience with it :)

Article 1. Maps

Bans. Player B starts by banning one of the listed maps. Player A then bans the next one. This continues until there is only one map left :)

Ban B – Ban A – Ban B – Ban A – ... – Ban B – Ban A – Last map remaining, is the map to be played

Today is an important day. We're preparing everything to make sure you'll get the best experience playing tomorrow. Check for your friendlist, we'll add you if you have already signed up :)

I will post an announcement for viewers here and will send messages with their starting time tomorrow personally to every participant.

Article 2. Prizes

There are only three secret consolation prizes for the winner places
All of them are somewhat funny, so don't blame us, it's an unofficial tournaments and there are no sponsors, I swear I'll pay for them for winners out of my own pocket, but the thing is just lets have a good time tomorrow :)

About the Tournament - 8-9 April 2017

Article 1. Tournament format

The tournament will be held over the coming weekend and will be played as 1vs1 competitive matches with specific rules.
Step 1: Fighting for the 1st place.
Step 2: Fighting for the 3th place among the losers of the last but one matches.

Article 2. Rules

Everything is allowed but ghosting or using glitches/exploits (circling trick is not an exploit)
Teams. 16 players will be splitted randomly before the tournament starts.
Maps. Every participant should ban 3 maps in every single match. After applying bans, the map will be chosen randomly. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/lambda-wars#announcements/detail/500305350227427084
Factions. You can't select the faction you want to play with, keep the selectbox value on RANDOM.
Time. Match can't be longer than 30 minutes.
