We've started running SHM in mid of 2004 (insecure) until I got tired of the hackers / banned players and went secure in November of the same year. Just and FYI.

I am sure we can get these servers busy once again. Just cannot find "kids" with patience these days. That part is out of my hands. But the SHM server has been slightly busy lately. And I bet not an admin around to administer the matches. Being as we have NO more admins except the Server Operators.

Today CS / CSCZ servers were moved to the STEAMCMD update tool and updating these servers caused the server backbond mods (metamod and amxmodx) to fail to load. So both of these mods had to be updated, then amxmodx plugins recompiled to work. MetaMOD v 1.20p36 and AMXMODX v1.8.2. This took some time to do, but downtime was minimal. (Not that anyone really noticed).

Loving the new cs_assault map for CSGO that was released today! Even though I was distracted with a phone call, I got pwned. But I will get my revenge!

Two things; Firstly: Servers underwent a change over the past few days. Today Debian 6.0.6 amd64 was installed. In this our SuperHero Database has gotten lost. (no many players lost there EXP so it is no major loss). But all the say we are sorry.
Secondly, my apologies to the K|W Community. We enabled admin mod on our HL1 servers last weekend and they were not allowing ANY one to stay connected!? This problem has been dealt with and we are ready to serve gaming needs. CS:GO servers were NOT effected by this mishap.

OMG. VALVe / STEAM has done it again. For years I have been wondering why CS1.6 servers have been ghost towns. Today I found out why. Servers were on version 55, current is version 74. Server was not even showing up on the master server list. If sorted by name and not by ping (default) K|W will be on the VERY top of the list and ON THE LIST for players to see we have NOT gone anywhere!! Thanks VALVe / Steam for not letting us know our servers needed to be updates (you f^%king pricks).

Getting ready to launch CS:GO here sometime in the early evening as our downloads are extremely slow. We will tinker with the server in hopes of getting our usual standard server. We see CG:CO comes in three different mode. We are hoping to mix and match these mods. So this may take some time. So stay tuned to see what this will bring... We are very excited!!

If anyone really cares; Yesterday morning we has some serious issues with Power. OUr APC Back-up RS 1500 reported a 142V in and kept kicking in and out until it killed the battery in over night hours. The noise was too much to sleep though finally when I began investigating... End result was the high powered fried a LaserJet internal transformer cauing a short in the circut. Fried a motherboard on the Windows Server 2008 and killed a memory module on the GameServer. These items have been delt with, and this morning we are back to business as usual.

Just sent in a request for SteamBans to cover 10 servers Max. Never thought we would need more than 3 but I would like the CSS Insecure server covered to keep out the busted cheaters who should not be allowed to even play what-so-ever. Between KAC and SB, we are well covered!

Finally back! Had to by a new computer overall. Asus Motherboard is still a problem to this day. I am fed up with the bologna from Asus Tech Support, the person who was helping with my issue was reassigned and I got a real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who felt the problem I keep having is not with my motherboard. It is a very long story. But I bought, on credit, a new barebone kit. I went with Intel this time, f&%k ASUS! INTEL RULES! I am back and looking forward to kicking ars this weekend. Frag you soon!

Development has halted with SH Mod for CSS on 10/2009. We have tried for hours on end trying to find the download for it. But the Author of the MOD had developers who stepped up to keep it going were told to stop releasing without his consent and only he would approve releases when he logs on. The problem was, he doesn't log on enough to keep up with the ever changing or morphing of CSS OB Engine.

We are keeping an eye out for the addon for CSS. If anyone knows where and when to get the MOD, please let us know ASAP!

Have you tried the thought of moving Super hero's to source? Or have they not fixed that yet? I know there was still a few problems with it beforehand when changing maps and the reset of powers all the time.. But i would respectively play If i was able to.

I have not been able to play due to a defective firmware upgrade on my motherboard. I just sent it in again for a 6th time for repair / replacement. I tried to get on here the other day but was down for maintenance. I am almost to the point where I am about ready to take the servers down permanently. I am tired of being the One Man Show here. Admins have just abandoned their seats near as I can tell and I have about had it with players lack of respect for the server.

Hmmm so I relize its been a very very long time sense i've made an appearance within the sever. But I'm making an appearance and I was wondering if anyone still plays and if you still play Krillin.

To Shutdown or Not To shutdown, that is the question. Being as servers are ghost towns, we feel it is pointless to keep empty servers running. I can't be in the servers all the time. I have a life to live to pay the bills somehow. It used to be typical to have 300-400 players a day, now it is 30-40 a month. Did I miss something here?

My apologies to my gaming community. I wanted peace and quiet for a day. Ended up installing updates on the server PC with Ubuntu and it required a reboot. I walked away, felt discussed about these updates and reboots on a Linux build. Well, after rebooting I seem to have forgotten to launch the 3 servers back up. So, I will plan my birthday make-up this Saturday! July 31. I am posting an announcement accordingly. You will all see the message.

:27016 IP is in my name Cloud. Been this IP for over 2 years now and going. We have static class IP with AT&T U-verse HSI. (High Speed Internet). But that is the port number to CS-SH.
