I agree;; Little note. You modders make it to hard for new players. and they may never come back so please keep mods for normal and up not the mod game maps i am saying easy should be regular not so hard. U guys scare people away just like when Quake2 died ; Some old guy that likes this Game. G

It's not "Dead" for it to be dead that would be implying that NO ONE plays it, but this is obviously not true because more than 1 person still plays it half my friends still play it (more than 40), and many many more because i dont play much public games.

L4d2 sucks balls. I cant stand the graphics. Lets make a petition so L4d is F2P

L4D isn't that dead. Most people just moved to L4D2 because it is superior in every way. It wasn't until they added the L4D campaign in L4D2.

I swore to always love L4D more then 2, for the characters, the levels, the mood, everything was better, but unfortantly now with everything in 1 being ported to 2, I fear that L4D is now truelly doomed

True, but I had to uninstall L4D due to harddrive space issues. Having only L4D2 on my HDD and with Valve releasing old campaigns in L4D2 it seems fairly redundant for players like me to come back to good old L4D.

I agree with Desert Fox, I support both games, emphasis on "both".

I'll play either one. I hate the "us or them" mentality that both game's diehard fans have. Save that attitude for the zombies, guys.

l4d2 is ok i guess. l4d is 1000x better, but sometime within I THINK the next 4 years, we will get l4d3. 4 brand new infected-all old ones gone. Haggard, Spormer, breeder, and enigma. haggard was going to be in l4d2, but wasnt.

No, just saying it's been true of and on. You know how the servers are dedicated to this site? I don't. I would like to...I've even sponsored one for a group once but there is no support for something like this.

Left 4 Dead has been left 2 die. I liked l4d1 more than I liked l4d2 anyhow. The l4d1 tank is better too.

Still never fail to get a full lobby if you've patience to wait for more than a minute or so...

Get people still playing Starseige: Tribes. Don't get people playing NFS:Prostreet. But Prostreet's ♥♥♥♥♥ and L4D :rocks: so I think ppl will always be around to play. Hopefully, when L4D3 comes out, all the people who didn't play 1, or/only 2, will *have* to get the trilogy - because Steam's marketing dept. tells them they *need* it and they're good consumersit sheep (know one guy with 211 games on Steamworks - they only played about 10 of them for an average of .7hrs each. Weird...).

There'll always be Hardcore.

This is a great game! Every time played is a new experience. That's because you never know who it is you're going to be playing with. And that does make a difference now doesn't it?:)
