I want to hear it from other perspectives.
I feel very mixed about that one, upon thinking about it.
I need to be around more real people. That is one reason why I would consider townhome living if it got me around more happening people.
But online, I want more folks to STFU. I just blocked a major member seeing what he was posting and it made me want to puke...
It happened this week.
This Summer could be !!!!!
You all still under that heat tarp?
But I just had a nice shower and shave anyways.
I was feeling grubby and the chin was scratchy.
Never mind that there is more to do. At least it can feel good while doing it.
They potentially get herded into camps or millions wander the streets. The rest of us barricade ourselves behind gates.
An economic meltdown occurs with entire generations removed from production and contribution to the system...
We landed girls, we went to college, started businesses, made our money, figured it out...
And we have entire generations doing the polar opposite.
What more can we say or do?
It's like a badly drawn comic.
I think that QT 3.14 is descending into prostituting himself for meals now.
I think that is the fate of many. Many of us have been warning they can't screen themselves day and night when they are young. It will result in them being homeless.
I see this as the fate of entire generations to come.
There were preliminary versions that said that we won't list every scenario. Know that we don't care if you think that you are special. You must maintain at all times and we reserve the right to sanction anybody at any time for any reason.
Posting is a privilege- not a right.
Yes, in 2003 I met my final fiancee' in one of the old Yahoo! chat rooms!
But that was the thing. It was actual people chatting!
1. Forums can bring out the worst in people.
2. If it has anything to do with tech- double rule #1.
Had my health not got taken from me- I was on the brink of creating a forum with BRUTAL standards of behavior.
Behave or be kicked to the curb!
The few that I go to are for tech and I really only go there to look for things like program updates.
Other than that- NO!!
Among the few unblocked threads are "I bet you shower naked."
No. I can't do it. I just can't waste time on people that stupid.
If there is nothing worth discussing then, I will just check the bell and see if any of you have anything to say. Other than that- I don't think so!
But take heart. It made people mad enough to probably mass report.
We all know that it is dead on the money!
Those are great for blowing out garages and driveways.
Saving nickels and dimes simply isn't worth it.
Buy only from sources that have strict practices such as quarantines.
I don't feel like going out and maybe it will be a C6 night when I am not working on some things.
One of the tanks has turned into a disaster(parasites being the big problem) and I feel drained.
And OT feels increasingly like an echo chamber for us. There only are a few grownups left.
I've been binging on Civ 5 but I've got to get in bed early. I have a 10am appointment on Monday, yikes!
They do not appear to be worth the keystrokes again.
A fresh shower and shave feel like a million bucks!
Another one is simply being able to produce settlers faster and grabbing land to build cities near key resources before they get a chance.
Without them, forget it. They are stuck.
The computer will periodically declare fake wars that frequently do little and then they have diplomatic freakouts when one actually captures cities or wipes someone out.
But if one is on the warpath, then let them lose their temper and issue denunciations, That just signals who is about to get mowed down next.
Tactical play, not luck.
Even when the AI talks aggressively, their mouth is writing checks their military can't cash.
Warfare is one that AI simply is terrible at. They can fumble around and give the illusion of being a competitor.- but ask it to truly keep up, produce, use tactics and strategy and it is going to completely melt down.
Kicking it's butt after a certain point isn't much fun when the outcome is a mere formality by that point.
Tech up.
Then even something as simple as grabbing just one more goody hut or sacking one more barbarian outpost and then using that surplus cash to rush just one granary starts the process of leaving the stumbling AI in the dust...
Marathon speed, always.
Skilled players from turn 1 are going to start making decisions that start this process early and the further we go, the more it compounds...
We figure things out and put ourselves on a trajectory in which we pull so far ahead that it becomes absurd!
