The Minutemen at Lexington literally fled after 2 minutes of fighting. Thats like 4 volleys from the Brits at the very most and the Minutemen had enough. They had been drinking the entire night whereas the tories were marching through the night and rain. With better morale and knowledge of the enemy's whereabouts, they still lost horribly.
