monsta, i'm making a 2 gig zip with all the files. tomorrow i'll upload it at school.

yeah i think if someone actually gets the server running properly in linux, just upload the entire installation (without the maps obviously), cant get it installed properly. grr

Linux servers work. Small hack required. Read about it at http://molesterland.net/guides/hl2mpob_on_gameservers/ (wherever it says "contact gameservers" just do it yourself).

Speedcrawl does not seem to work in this mod, sad:/

Valve updated HL2DM to the Source 2009 engine, because that's the version of the engine that they ported to the Mac. The update wasn't done to "fix HL2DM" according to user input. HL2DM has not had any responsive support for a long time. Spawning without immediately usable grenades and being unable to restrafe during a bhop isn't a result of "Valve getting their ♥♥♥♥ together"; it's collateral from the engine update. I love Valve and understand completely that this is not a game they need to maintain. I have no issue with them. I simply think this mod is much more playable than what has become of the game after the port to Source 2009. Furthermore, I like that the game's development is now in the hands of someone that responds to its users' input.

So... wait... after all that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and complaining that practically EVERYONE was doing, Valve gets their ♥♥♥♥ together, and its STILL not good enough. We have to go back and play with what was originaly hated. I love the human race.
