Sorry about the downtime, something very bad happened on our node and our world became corrupt. Luckily, I took a backup today at 4am, so we are all back up and running on the backup.

Due to this issue, and the fact that I need to update anyway, I have found a better deal at BeastNode. I'll be ordering the new server soon, and then we will transfer over shortly after. I need to get everything set up on it yet. Watch the thread for more information.

Hey, sorry the server went down tonight, bukkit had a bit of a brain fart. Everything is fine now though.

I recieved an Email today from LethalDrive, here is the email:

"LethalDrive has just returned from MineCon, and it was a huge success! If you didn't know, our team flew out to Las Vegas to exhibit at the first ever Minecraft convention. We had a huge booth where you could hang out, chat with us, and even order a server. We were also hosting half of the servers for the game area where attendees could play 1.0.0 before anyone else! We've been seeing an increase of sales and more and more people are signing up every day to see what makes LethalDrive different.

As a result of this great success and huge milestone in our business, we've decided to stop renting our hardware from Softlayer and instead purchase all of our own hardware and place them in high quality datacenters with the same great connection, starting with Chicago. Unfortunately, this means that everyone's IP addresses will have to change as it isn't possible for us to take our Softlayer IPs with us. Other than that, there will be no difference. Chicago has awesome worldwide connectivity and we're still using the same hardware, so you'll still see the same great performance you've always had from LethalDrive."

Basically they are getting servers of their own instead of renting, so they have to drop the rented IP's. Otherwise, everything will be fine, just keep your eye on the thread for information about this if the IP isnt working one day.

Now, we're only going to be moving a select set of clients this weekend as we don't have our Chicago network fully online yet due to some shipping delays. We're going to be moving everyone on host nodes 1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 this weekend to brand spanking new nodes in our Chicago datacenter. All other nodes will be given further notice. Not too long from now, you'll be able to see the status of your migration as well as your place in the queue right in your control panel. You'll also be emailed when the migration is beginning and when it has completed, along with your new IP address.

Since the Adventure Update has been split into so many parts, I'm just going to wait until it's fully released before I start the full non temp map.

Alright guys, here's the situation: There is a 1.6 Recommended build out for Bukkit finally, but, I'm not updating to it tonight for a few reasons.

One reason is that I'm extremely tired, and I don't want to be extremely tired when dealing with this sort of thing. I don't want to ♥♥♥♥ anything up.

Also, I have work in the morning, and I would be away from the computer for 8 hours, and if any issues arise in the critical first 24 hours, I would not be there to fix the problem.

And finally, I need to give the plugin community a chance to catch up. Most of our plugins aren't updated to the experimental builds, let alone the Recommended build. When the most important plugins (Factions, iConomy, LogBlock) Update, or are confirmed to work with the new build, I will update.

So just hang in there guys. One more day. Take this time to unclaim all land from the Nether and grab anything you can from it. The server will be starting with a fresh Nether when I update the Bukkit Build.

Oh, yeah, I still have to wait for Brohoster to upload the build anyway, so, there's that.
