We WILL BE using the Island Map. While we LOVE the actual map of the center it just doesn't get the proper support by the devs for glitch fixing, biome updates, cave updates, etc.

We are giving it until 4:30 to try to help people upload dinos for their personal servers. In order to keep the server equal for everyone we are not allowing dino downloads and character downloads.

We have been informed by our server provider that the reason why we keep having issues is that our server file itself is corrupted. The ONLY way to fix this is to have the host reinstall ark and start the server fresh. This has been an ongoing issues from the conversion of the center mod to an actual map. Because of this the server will continue to have periods of unplayable time and requires a fresh wipe.

Because of this the ability for you to upload dinos assuming the server will support you logging in is extremely limited. We expect to take the server down within the hour.

We apologize for any inconvenience but in order to allow our server to be working and compatible for players this needs to be done as much as it sucks ass. As is we have already lost players due to server instability.

No with official launch of the center map by the devs, they specifically chose to increase the dino level cap to 150 because they consider the map to be a harder environmental map versus the original island.

I played a little today and I saw a lvl 130 wild sabertooth. Did you change the max lvl of dinos?

Server should be popping back up after the v241.2 update. It's a larger update so it might take a little longer then normal to reflect on your server list. for those curious what the update included:

Current Version: v241.2
* Fixed various TheCenter structure placement, teleport, collision issues, dino difficulty curve, and dino spawns
* TheCenter clients now work properly on Mac
* Fixed general case where you could place structures within world geometry
* Generated shadow distance field data for the rest of TheCenter world geometry meshes (sorry for the large one-time update!!)
* Saved some RAM on non-ShaderModel5 platforms by discarding unneeded distance field data
* Reduced Wild Compy HP and Damage by 50%

SERVER SEEMS TO BE RUNNING SMOOTHLY! You will still need to view the installing the center dlc announcement on what to do client side in order to access the server. That said birds were an issue when the DLC first launched so if you have a bird chilling out inside your house that's why.

Hey guys, what is the password for the server?

For those itching to play I will have the server up soon! Working out some kinks and adjusting server settings before fully live.

Brawl we have contacted hosthavoc since we've had 2 days with server issues. We've gone months without issues and not of course when we have them I'll pass on the info from them once I get in contact with goonie.

I am aware of the issue with the server being down. Thank you to those who brought it to my attention! Goonie has been notified however I believe he is asleep for the evening. It'll be resolved as soon as possible and thanks for understanding guys!

Joining through Steam
On your main steam window click the "view" button in top left and then the "servers" button in the drop down menu. Once the window opens go to the favorites tab and click the "add server" button in bottom right. Now all you need to do is copy paste our IP posted above into that window, hit add this address to favorites and you're done. You can now join through the servers window in steam, or in game under your favorite servers.
