HEY GUYS,

Long time no see. I've been recovering from my shoulder surgery, enjoying 4 times a week physical therapy, and volunteering to help clean up pats of staten island after hurricane sandy. I made it threw with minimal loss (rip nana) and I'm on vacay for 2 weeks now.

D&D 4e.

I want to get at least one group going for some time this week! Saturday is still the best day for me, but you guys let me know if you're interested and post what day you want. I'll fill in the left over spots with random people form roll20.net, so no biggy.

I've recreated the entire website from that dumb one that godaddy provided and I think I've reached a happy point.

I've posted Alpha groups' week 1 summary on the page for your viewing pleasure and I will post a podcast from the evening tomorrow after I get home from work (and finished editing it).

I've got my mentor account up and running on roll20.net and I've placed my one story (self-made) into the websites campaign builder. We're also using dropbox to share files and, obviously, teamspeak to record our sessions. I'll be posting our first session on brtw2.com this wednesday, so come have a listen if you're interested in playing! (I edited out most of the dead air while we waited for rolls).


Also, I'm accepting players for a second weekday group, hopefully either monday or tuesday in the evening. Anyone who wants in, message me and I'll set up a doodle poll (doodle.com) once we have enough players to finalize a time.

For the second group, I want to run shadowfell keep to completion, so be prepared for a deep dungeon-crawl. Humans only though (boo lame DM is lame, TOO BAD!).

This is a simple post for all in the group who may be unaware or for those coming into the group.

From what was said by our illustrious Dungeon Gent, Dine, the format is roughly as follows:

For the games themselves, we use roll20.net as an online tabletop, and teamspeak for communication, you should at least be able to go on teamspeak to hear your team if not speak to them.

We're going to have an ongoing adventure/campaign where anyone thats there for the event can join (note, there may be a limit for people as DnD is better with 5 people rather than 20, but thats at Dine's discretion)

Instead of individual experience, theres party experience, wherein after enough encounters, the entire GentDnD group levels up, for example, as of our last encounter, the group leveled up to 2, meaning that all persons who wish to join in can join in from level two, despite whether or not they were there for the encounters.

This way, if you have to miss a week, all you miss out on is the fun, and loot. There will be an event for when the weekly game is, just to help everyone remember and whatnot.

Every week, myself or some other friendly Gent will be recording the session, then it will be edited down so that anyone wanting to know what went down can literally hear word for word what went down, and can experience it first hand. If you are new and kind of lost, or want to invite someone who you think would enjoy DnD, then by all means ask one of the more experienced persons in the group, we're all quite friendly here and for the most part would be happy to give you a hand with character creation and whatnot.
