In the ship designer, click the Options button at the bottom of the screen. Then click the circle next to "show parts from other styles".

Ok here's a dumb question for my fellow designers. I've been going through some of your guys designs that I downloaded tonight, and notice that there are ship parts that don't belong to the faction, that I'm playing that make up some of these ships. How do you get access to the parts of other races? It'd really help me, in making future designs going forward, for my custom factions, like the Boom Bots.

Yes it was the first thing I noticed too. Do not know what possessed them to do that, its a massive annoyance. Cant get a straight top down screen shot. "Not happy Jan!" (its an Aussie Yellow Pages ad, comment lol)

Crap, that really makes it alot harder

yeah I notice i can`t turn the ship upside down!

It seems with the latest patch I can no longer spin the camera in the designer 360 degress vertically. Anyone else noticed this?
