So there's a bug where if you shoot yourself with a plasma turret, it crashes the server.

I would like to report Bigmanloser for spawn ship griefing, i never fired at him, and my ship never fired at him.

I don't know if it's feasible, but would setting up a Discord channel specifically for GSF be a difficult thing?

The frieghter respawns should be working now, I have not looked into currency mods and not really sure if I want to go that way or not. Server should be live at this point updated and all systems go.

The server is now 1 version back due to this mornings update and will be inaccessible until Neimoh gets back and updates to the new version. There may be an additional wait as the spawn ships are not working as intended and he'll have to fix those as well.

Yea, it is the same world file fro mthe server that i downloaded a week ago. This update messed it up. I have ships on there that I will need to redu. Tnxs for the re-upload.

@jokerace45 you may have got a bad download. I have the new world configured already for this weekend with all the mods. I'll drop that in the dropbox for uploads as it's only 1 or 2mb uplod instaled of the big chunk that is there now. I'll get on that tonight when I get home.

UPDATE -
I ended up removing all Mods and got same results on start up of world. i remvoed all checked advanced settign in lower checkboxes andgot same results. i changed world size to 10km with viewavle 7 km and got same results. It appears to be somethign that is a part of the world that I do not understand how to change or effect. I can't think of anything more to try.

I got a copy ofthe SE server world and when it loads I get a very warped black and white smeared type world. I can't recognise anything. When I laod other worlds it runs fne. It is soemthign in your world. i will begine removing Mods and loadign the world to see which Mod it is. I am bettign it is a Mod that was effected by the update.

Is anyone able to log in? I keep crashing when the mods load. Looking at the crash log, the last entry is " Could not add item into production block's queue: Blueprint MyObjectBuilder_BlueprintDefinition/HighPerformanceStoneToOre was not found. " which leads me to believe that the Centrifuge is causing the crash.

Hey Neimoh I think my character is messed up on the server I crashed out yesterday and I have not been able to log into server it keeps telling me server host has left, but I can connect to other servers just fine. Maybe My character needs to be deleted I am not sure.

I was wondering what happened to my ship.

I had lots of production blocks but I did it under the idea that as a two man faction I was allowed to have as many. The ships name is D-Rockhopper.

I can recover and rebuild, but am I doing something wrong?

I don't yet know our block count cap. Our trade station is 14k and runs fine we have another station at 11k. Ship wise the largest atm is just under 7k. I load tested my box in single player with 130k blocks and about 300 ai guns before i hit the bottom end of playable lag. Right now I will say lets cap at 30k and see how it runs. If it drags things down we'll cut back. If it runs fine we'll up it a bit more. I do know that performance is affected by block count on an area and not just by a single grid as well. So 2 15k ships has the same performace hit as 1 30k ship.

Hey Neimoh, what was the limit on large ship block count? I've got a decent sized one I want to bring in, but will shrink it if it'll be too big. It's not quite finished (needs a bit more armor in places) so I don't have a block count yet.

I appreciate all the work you are putting into getting this working again. I'm finding it humorous that the two games I mainly play both had updates around the same time that screwed with the modding/multiplayer stuff.

Fawkes I can assure you I didn't delete any of your ships. You may have fallen under the vanishing ship bug we've all started experiencing. I have the world files and I'll keep an eye out for your stuff when I reset the world.

I also saw Wulflord had some missing stuff as well or things powered off on him I'll also watch for his stuff too when I export.

I value everyones time put forth into their creations as much as I do my own. I have the latest world file now and will start working on a clean slate when I get home from work tonight. I won't import everything as I want to get rid of needless junk from people that no longer log in as it hurts sim speed. I will have all the files to be able to import at your request at any gps coords you want in the new system. I have several backups so there shouldn't be any reason I can't get your stuff back in the game.

I'm probably done with this game for a while.. My grinder/welder ship was deleted with all of my equipment in it, plus my mining ship. After rebuilding both, they were deleted again. Finally the mothership I was working on was deleted, all with beacons. Just can't justify time spent :/ I'll keep the server favourited and pop in 6-8 months from now when SE and the server are more stable!

yes irish armor ramps vanished server wide for some reason. We try to wipe the mod folder clean and pull a fresh download every restart but sometimes we miss it. This is what i think has happend. The author updated his ramps and we didn't get the update in time and the server dumped them. usually you can rebuild them, if it won't let you place try moving your ship a bit

Did armor ramps disapear for anyone else? I can't seem to place them either.

see err... i have been haveing an issue even before the big event. its wired and reloggin doesnt fix it, and my pc has been rebooted.. the ship i have isnt moveing whats ever. but for some reason my char. keep moveing over half a block every sec or two... its mroe then anoying its killed me more times then i have fingers and toes. so any advice or delete my char data 100% server side? idk. i reinstalled the game and all kinds of stuff. like ill be standing still and it happens from the moment i log in to the moment i log off.. and its only when im inside of my ship out side of it im fine. Update---so i used a merge block and turn it in to a station, but now i cant acess my storage.

and after all said and done, that mod that adds the Hydro tank to the small ship replace that with one that has a working hydro block tank? that coudl be an issue?
