This is a maintenance update. During playtesting of team deathmatch over the weekend we identified a few critical bugs. These should be mostly resolved with this update, but more testing is needed. We've also added a new map called 'Split', fixed the AI fort on Vanilla Large, and squashed a few other bugs. Full change list in the Update History discussion.

This update adds a big new feature: team deathmatch! When a multiplayer game is in this mode the game tries to give each player on a side their own fort and resources. This prevents your team mates interfering with your perfectly designed fort, or them spending resources just before you buy that precious cannon.

If there aren't enough forts to go around it distributes players evenly over the available forts. Surplus forts are deleted but the ground is still there to build on. If a reactor is destroyed the players on that fort can only watch as the remainder of their team tries to hang on.
