sry guys for doing this, just had an interview today and got the job, my training starts tomorrow. idk when i'll be back, hopefully before the event. Also no one decided to put down what game they wanted to play so i chose randomly and got zombie panic source. games free stand alone mod. Now if i don't make it back you all can still get together and just play whatever game u want.

i used to play viindictus, not sure if i remember my account. i think my dude was level 30

oh i found out i can invite up to 10 people in a party, however its restricted to free for all only. i tihink you have to be level 6 to unlock free for all mode.

pure ownage- when i took this screenshot, most of the enemy players had already left the lobby. just clarifying incase someone thought we were fighting against only two players.

cool ^^, yeah my first impression on hawken was p2w but it seemed so easy to outmaneuver anyone that i 1vs1 or even 1vs3. i could at least get in one kill before i die if im outnumbered bymyself. Theres also a heal mechanic in the game, utilizing that greatly increases your kdr, not that it matters but to prove a point that i feel the game isn't p2w is my 50kills/20deaths. Not bad for a first time player. I have fought against players with better robots and again their arsenal is obviously better then mine but it's like no one in the game tries to maneuver in a battle. Killing in the game takes much longer then stuff like counterstrike, cod, chivalry etc etc. I mean we are in robots haha.

Maps are pretty good and provide a good variety of terrains. controls for the keyboard are easy to use. to strafe to the left or right u do shift+a or shift+d or you vice versa. To do a 180 degree turn for quick turning incase someone gets you from behind u press shift+s. To rush is shift+w. You get the idea, theres not alot of buttons you need to learn. Shift is your friend.

The game doesn't handicap new players by giving them the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ robot in the game because again as long as you play smart and not rush in like an idiot you can win. Team cooperation is crucial in this game as every different robot has its pros and cons. It's just like how in chivalry we need a versatile group of players. if we all had vanguards we would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Its the same with this game.

Hawken's robots are all obtainable with ingame currency but can be purchased with real money. This doesn't exactly make the game p2w as i've covered above. So far i don't think there is a way to customize different weapons. I think whatever weapon that robot uses is permanant which is awesome.

yeah i think hawken will be a good game for us to try, the only problem is we can only have a maximum of 3 players per party. we could try forming 2 parties and vs each other if possible, but i think the game does automatch/balancing.

but overall the game is well balanced, and every robot has its merits. If you combine the available agility that your robot has you can best a robot that far outranks you. i've fought countless players who are fully packed with high end robots and weapons that out damage mine. But if you combine dodge/hovering movements while keeping your weapons in check from overheating and use cover, you can outmaneuver and kill. The game has bars for fuel, overheating, health, as well as shields for certain robots. It seems alot to keep in check but tbh i got everything down by the middle of my first match. Everyone will start with a TR-recruit robot which honestly is not bad and very versatile. Weapons included is a typical missile launcher and a machinegun.
