Hello there! While actually looking for a SW Destiny Group to use Tabletop Simulator with, so I could better learn that game, ran across this group, so thought I'd drop a line and express possible interest in Darth Batman's or the other GM's group that showed both were looking for players, though I've not played EotE or had the chance for any traditional tabletop SW RPGs but have been longing to for ages! Not sure how else to put myself and interest out there, this seemed my best route. Thanks, and MTBWY all!

I've got an issue with the Edge of the Empire character sheet.

The databases will not record Piloting - Planetary, Piloting - Space, Streetwise, Ranged - Light, Ranged - Heavy, Core Worlds, and Outer Rim as career skills. You can click "Edit," click "Load," toggle one of those as "Y," click "Save," and then save the database, save the overall game .. but if you go to load it, you will find that your actions did not survive. In fact, if you go into the text section of the database and change all of the 33 corresponding "Y/N" results to "Y," none of them correspond to those skills and no "Y" will appear on the sheet. Every other skill will be permanently recorded as career skills.

It would also be great if Lightsaber (Ag/Int/Cun/Will/Pr) could be made possible and if Warfare could be added too.

I have a group of 3 brand new players that would like to play EotE

Finnish player on the lookout for a GMT friendly Edge of the Empire game. Ran a few sessions irl, but still pretty new to the system.

Central US Player looking for any FFG based star wars game. I'm pretty experienced in the system but have not had a chance to play in a good year, and after seeing Rogue one I have the itch to play again. I'm pretty much willing to fill any role, but i tend to excell in more scoundrel type roles, such as slicer, gambler, mechanic,etc. Willing to play anyday from 5PM CST and onward.

UK RPer, living in SoCal currently, would like F&D game (or to play a F&D character in an EotE or AoR game). 38 years RPG experience. Not a ♥♥♥♥ (despite my cat telling you otherwise for not feeding him when he wants it). I'm new to the current iteration of the SWRPG but GMed/played the WEG version for years.

Is it a campaign you're already running or will this be a new one? Should I just be looking at the EoE character creation or the other two systems? Sorry I'm a bit new to EoE but I can pick it up fast. The character creation seems straight forward, I just don't know what my limitations are.

Your friend might want to keep in mind that this our first attempt at EotE too, as most of us are still learning the rules from the ground up as we're coming from D&D, FAGE, WoD etc. If they're okay with that and if my mate can't make it, then by all means I'll contact you straight away.

well sureshot i have a uk player and i try to keep his times in check so i can have everyone play but i am full atm.

Just got TTS since it's on sale! Even just checking out other games people are playing got me looking forward to trying it out for EotE

Hi guys, just thought I'd pop by and say hello. A few friends and I are thinking about starting up EotE soon inbetween an ongoing Fantasy Age campaign, so this group seems pretty damn handy to me considering we're all very new to the system. Sadly though we'll be playing at UK times, so we'll probably have to miss some of the awesome games going on here. Alas when we get to know the rules better we may very well host games for players from the UK and Europe, depending on time schedules.

Still, keep up the good work and hopefully we can add games to the group eventually. :)

@ArguableSquash I don't believe we have any GM's currently running campaigns/oneshots during the weekday. I run a session every Monday at 8pm. Not sure if that works for you. I can look into getting something organized though, maybe with some European players?

Is there any quick one-shot's that happen during the weekday days around here? I just want to scratch an itch but nights don't work for me. :/

hey, not sure if any of you knew about this, but there is this website called fabletop. its a very basic dnd style online game, no download you play in your browser, you can make your own maps or use the ones that are there, not sure if any of you would like it cause its a lot more simpler than the edge of empire. but i figured id throw it out there for the more casual roleplayers like me. And im currently hosting an escape from L.A. inspired game if any of ya want to join.
