This descision may change based on its results, but for right now im going to let it fly. The permissions may change based on this choice, and allowing people to become members will hopefully persuade other e2 builders to become a bigger part of this community. Let's just cross our fingers that I don't have any 2nd thoughts.

Rules, Ranks, and Privileges

Here are a couple of things that you should know. Hope this helps!

Ranks

1.) Member

how to earn it:
you start off with this rank when you join the group.

privileges:
- create and view E2 suggestions
- create and view E2 guides
- post comments on discussion topics

2.) Moderator

how to earn it:
All it takes is for me to know that you own Garrys mod, that you know how to use E2s, and that you are a qualified group member

privileges:
- create and view E2 suggestions
- create and view E2 guides
- post comments on discussion topics

new privileges:
- add players to the group
- view shared E2 creations

3.) Officer

how to earn it:
you must be a member, and prove that you are skilled at using e2. In addition to this, you will also have to contribute to the group in some way
(read rules below)

privileges:
- create and view E2 suggestions
- create and view E2 guides
- post comments on discussion topics
- add players to the group
- view shared E2 creations

new privileges:
- host events (usually for hosting a temporary garrys mod server)
- post announcements
- share E2 creations with other people who are moderators and above

These are things that could earn you the officer rank. Feel free to...

-share ideas for e2s with others
-help people if they have questions
-give people polite suggestions in order to improve their e2s
-tell me if i have forgotten to update your rank
-invite people who will contribute to the community

The Don'ts
These are things that you'll be punished for. Please do not...

-lie about your hours (I probably won't update your rank)
-post rediculous discussions/announcements (forum ban/lose rank)
-take full credit for someone else's creation (ban)
-post any graphic or disturbing content to the group (forum/chat ban)
-get into arguments with people you don't even know (one day chat ban)
-invite people who have no idea how e2 works (they will be banned)
-invite those people with the intent of causing issues (ban)
